“Om continues to set very high standards for himself and puts forth a lot of effort to reach his goals. He always likes to be challenged and he responds to those challenges passionately. He regularly extends his learning beyond lessons by practicing more to improve the areas that he lags. He is identified as a gifted student in school who enjoys math and science. When evaluating his work, he approaches that task honestly, looking for ways to make improvements. 2. Kirat Agrawal
“Kirat is 8 years old and lives in Dublin, Ohio. He is in 3rd grade. He loves playing Chess, tennis and soccer. He is hard working and love challenges.”

3. Vidyuth Gowtham
“Vidyuth is 8 years old and in 3rd grade. He enjoys playing chess and doing chess setup puzzles. He is very competitive and loves to learn new moves. His favorite move is “Fried Liver Attack” as you can see in this picture he is ready to attack his opponent with that move. 6. Aryav Kaushik
“Aryav is a 12 year old 7th Grader and resides in San Jose, California. He likes to spend his time doing math, playing basketball, studying biology, playing chess, and spending time with his family, especially with his little sister. Over a couple of months, Aryav has grown from being a novice to a chess enthusiast, his favorite player being Alireza Firjouza. He played almost every single tournament this summer and increased his rating by a couple of hundred points. His coach, Rinku Jain, inspired a passion we never thought was possible in just a few months of chess instruction. Now, one of Aryav’s favorite sports is chess thanks to Coach Jain and Premier Chess Academy’s tournaments on Lichess. Some of his goals this year in chess would be to increase his rating and winning an OTB state championship.”

7. Gautam Eda
“Gautam Eda is 11 years old boy from Georgia and is in 6th grade. He started to play chess when he was 7 years old. He plays the flute, and he is very good at it. He loves playing with his friends. He also likes riding his bike, Soccer and Playing on his Xbox. It’s been a month since he joined PCA, and he started learning new Techniques from his coach Mr.Narendiran and he trained him very well. He has started joining weekly tournaments and enjoys playing. He also participated in an unrated tournament at Atlanta level and secured 5th place.”

8. Virinchi Reddy Vennapusa
“Virinchi is 11 years old, studying 6th grade at FHSD, and lives in St. Charles, Missouri. He is always a cheerful and enthusiastic kid. We enrolled him in PCA a couple of months back. At that time he knew only the basics, but within 2 months he learnt strategies, planning and many tactics. He enjoys all practice sessions and weekend tournaments. In addition to Chess, Virinchi loves Tennis, Taekwondo, Cricket, Biking and also watching a lot of documentaries. “Manya is an eight years old 3rd grader living in Valencia, California. Manya is a very confident, fun loving and enthusiastic girl. She started learning chess from May 2021 through PCA with coach Swapnil. She started enjoying the chess classes and she improved her skills with a lot of practice sessions. “Rikitha Selvam is 6 years old. She lives in California, USA. She is a smart and studious kid. She loves to do Gymnastics and is very interested in Chess. Chess was introduced to her last year by her elder sister. Initially, she felt so upset to play games even more when she lost the games, but over time she gained self confidence and drained her fear. Eventually she started winning the chess games. She achieved 10th place in the North American Open international tournament under age 8 girls section. 18. Vir Sharma
“Vir is an 8 year old boy who lives in Plano, TX and loves to play chess in his spare time. Other than chess, some of his other interests are playing soccer, piano and solving complex puzzles. He is very curious ,self-driven and competitive kid and a very amiable personality. One of his key traits is the hunger to learn new things and consistently working on it until he has reached a level of mastery. He has come a long way in learning chess, and the credit for that goes to none other than Rajat Malik at the Premier Chess Academy. Rajat’s style of teaching has definitely worked for Vir, he has been a good listener to Rajat and would adopt the strategies that were recommended by him. Vir has now become an ardent fan of lichess.org where he would not only play random chess games but also solve puzzles. The other good thing that really helped him get up the learning curve is by learning from his failures, he would backtrack his moves on lichess and see what he could have done to prevent from losing. “Ananya Chennamsetty is a 3rd grader, Lives in Peoria, IL.She is very passionate about chess and further improving her skills. “Pratham is a 10 year old from Concord, North Carolina and born in Gujarat, India. He is an athletic, smart and respectful kid. He is a professional inline speed skater and loves to play basketball, soccer and video games apart from his passion about chess. He started to play chess at the age of 7 for fun but it became his passion after joining PCA under Prajwal Sir. He joined PCA in May ’21 and after that his lichess rating has improved significantly under continuous guidance of coach Prajwal sir and by playing in practice and USCF rated tournaments. He loves to play chess on lichess.com whenever he gets a chance and is very passionate about improving the rating. As parents, we feel proud about his passion and dedication for chess which has ultimately helped him to achieve a new scale in speed skating as well.”
