Zoom

Zoom is a software tool which we may use, at our discretion, to record certain chess classes provided on our Platform. You will be notified directly by the Zoom software upon the commencement of any recording of any meeting that you are participating in. YOU MUST LEAVE THE MEETING IMMEDIATELY SHOULD YOU NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN A MEETING WHICH IS BEING RECORDED.

  • ZOOM will alert you, via both audio and video, when you join a meeting, and in the event that the meeting is recorded, you may decide to either remain in or leave the meeting.
  • At our discretion, when a meeting is recorded, we may either store the recording of the meeting locally on our host machine/server and/or in our Zoom cloud. Zoom maintains various access controls to mitigate against the threat of unauthorized access to meeting recordings saved to the Zoom cloud.
  • Zoom collects only the user data that is required to provide you Zoom services. This includes technical and operational support and service improvement. For example, we collect information such as a user’s IP address and OS and device details to deliver the best possible Zoom experience to you regardless of how and from where you join.
