At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.
Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (November 2021) at Premier Chess Academy, North America(Canada & USA)!
1. Shubham Chouhan
“Shubham is a 3rd grader and lives in Bridgewater NJ, USA. He was introduced to chess 9 months ago and started playing the game on the board gifted by his aunt. His passion for chess was discovered as soon as he took the board in his hand and started learning about the game. He is a fast learner and spent his time playing on the board or playing against the computer. This encouraged us to enroll him in formal classes and thanks to PCA we found the right platform to help and support him with knowledge. He loves chess so much that he introduced his other close friends to this strategic game and PCA. He is part of a small chess club in his school and most of the time chess pieces are his topic of show and tell. His other interests are swimming and karate. In his spare time when he is not playing chess he loves to read about space & universe and enjoys spending time with his baby sister. “
Coach feedback on Shubham :
“Shubham is an enthusiastic kid. He actively participates in all the class activities and gives his level best to give answers to all the questions. Shubham also has a remarkable observational skill, at times he sits quietly in the class but tries to understand all the topics discussed with full focus, and then he tries to implement them in the practice sessions and the tournament. I am extremely happy with Shubham’s progress till now and hoping he continues with the same. Great going Shubham! “
