Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.
Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (April 2022) at Premier Chess Academy, Europe!
1. Shanon Sampaul Peris
” Shanon is 10 years old and she lives in the UK. She has a passion for playing the piano and violin along with chess. She also loves singing and painting in her free time. Her favorite subjects are Art, Science and Math and she gets along with everyone. Shanon is always trying to become better at everything she learns and does. Being a single child, she is a very well behaved girl. She joined chess 5 months ago and thanks to Coach Kumar Raunak, she has been enjoying chess since she joined PCA.”

” Shanon is a very good learner and doing really great in chess, she is very attentive in the class and regular with her practice session. She is good at puzzles as well and always finds tactics on the chessboard very fast. 2. Pranati Yedla
” Pranati is 11 years old and she is very passionate about learning chess. She learned basic chess on her own. She wants to become chess champion. She has a good ability to understand quickly.

” Pranati is a very talented kid whose interest lies in all the different dimensions. She’s a great multitasker and interacts well. She’s very hardworking. She always attends all the practice sessions. She has a very sharp mind as She grasps the concepts very well and easily. She has worked incredibly hard but there is a long way to go. I’m happy with her progress. I believe she’s gonna play at a very high level soon.”

3. Ee Zer Tan
” Ee Zer is 7 years old and has just picked up chess 2 months ago. He enjoyed this new hobby very much and looked forward to participating in each and every lesson and tournament scheduled. Ee Zer is passionate about chess and strives to achieve higher milestones under the guidance of his coach Sunya.”

Selection Criteria – April 2022:
- Regular in class and practice sessions.
- Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
- Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
- Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
- Over all – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
