At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.

1. Naheel Barua
” Naheel is a bright Student. His passion for chess is very authentic. He is always very attentive in class and ready to give his answers. He is always very passionate to win the game and strives to be better at every step of his chess journey. All his efforts are very much appreciable! He loves learning new things. Science and math are his favorite subjects in school. He also loves debating and computing. Apart from chess lessons, he is learning Japanese. Naheel has a younger sister called Nehama.”

2. Eshanth Bodem
” Hi, I am Eshanth, 7 years old and living in the UK. I started playing chess when I was 5. Premier Chess Academy allowed me to improve my understanding of Chess. Playing in tournaments helped boost my confidence and improve my gameplay over the months. Apart from Chess, I love playing Badminton and Football. I would like to thank my coach Jeet Singh for nominating me as “Star Kid of the month.”

3. Darsh Ajay Chandrasekharan
” Darsh lives in the UK, 9yr old… loves Chess, and all credit to Premier chess and team, he has learned to be more focused, build up confidence, time management and play in the right spirit. Other hobbies are playing piano, and painting. I also like playing football and playing Nintendo.”

Selection Criteria – October 2022:
- Regular in class and practice sessions.
- Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
- Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
- Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
- Over all – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
