1. Eric Riego
” Eric is a 10 year old boy currently in 4th grade. He loves participating in class. His favorite subjects in school are Math and Science. Eric is passionate about learning, he is an avid reader and frequently borrows books from the library to read during the school bus ride or any other opportunity. When not in school or studying for academic assignments, Eric enjoys playing chess with family and friends. His goal is to one day become a chess grand master. Additionally, in his pass time, Eric enjoys playing soccer, which he is very skillful at, and riding his bike around the neighborhood with his sister.”

A very sharp mind and involves creativity is very obedient and only speaks when required otherwise he only listens to what is being taught in the class. 2. Sreecharan
” Sree is a 13 year old 8th grader who enjoys playing chess. He is very outgoing and likes to play video games, watch movies, and play basketball. He is also a Black Belt in Karate, which he has been doing for the past 6 years. We enrolled him in chess to try and see if it piques his interest, and it most definitely did. Currently, Sree play Chess almost everyday and enjoys every game. He is improving his skills rapidly and it’s thanks to his dedication to the game and his coach (Abhishek’s) guidance. We are proud of our son and can’t wait to see his next achievement.”

3. Tejas Gampa
” Tejas Gampa is almost 12 yrs. old (in Feb). He is a sweet kid who loves being silly, caring, playful and a joyful kid. He got introduced to chess when he was 7 yrs. old and ever since he slowly started liking the game. I am glad we came across this opportunity for him which he is really enjoying and really appreciates our couch Arya. Apart from this he enjoys his time as a boy’s scout and loves doing math. He is our little helper at home. He is the best brother to his little one (3yr old). Long way to go and hope he achieves all of his dreams.”

” Samarth is a 7-year-old 2nd grader and lives in NY. He has a brown belt in Martial Arts, loves Art, Swimming and is a champ at Math and reading books. He’s very energetic, loves challenges and is curious about learning new things! 5. Aarya Natarajan
” Aarya Natarajan is a fun-loving and easy-going kid. He loves playing piano and enjoys playing chess. He loves to spend time with his close friends, play Minecraft, and build Legos. He enjoys learning new tips and tricks by watching chess talks. Lots of credit goes to his teacher Mr.Ashish Pattnaik for inculcating the passion to participate in tournaments and enjoy playing chess. 6. Suryakarna
” Suryakarna Shanker turned 11 in January 2023 and he is in 5th grade at Mission San Jose Elementary School in Fremont, CA. He enjoys playing chess and he is also part of the chess team at his school. In his free time he plays chess with his younger sister and he tries to teach his sister that he learned. Suryakarna plays tennis and has won the United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournament twice and runner-up once and also plays for the Junior tennis team tournament as part of the tennis academy where he is getting trained. In his free time he likes to read story and novel books, plays Beyblades, basketball and cricket. He is very kind, social and cares for others. He loves to be around his family. 7. Vihalva Karthikeya kattamudi
” Karthik is in 4th and lives in Henderson, NV. He started his chess classes one year ago and gradually developed his skills to solve more puzzles. We should thank his coach Bhaskar for his guidance and patience. Karthik loves reading books and always wants to buy a new book as soon as he finishes reading one book.He is an expert in legos building and always stood first in library Lego competitions. 8. Karanbir Singh
” Karanbir is 9 years old, naughty, fun loving and a cool kid. He is a 3rd grader in an elementary school in Acton, Massachusetts. His interests are swimming, reading books, Lego building, playing soccer for the town team, and learning piano. His fascination for board games began at age of 7 and soon we discovered his curiosity in the game of chess. A friend recommended Premier Chess Academy for Karanbir and little did we know there will be no looking back as Karanbir fell in love with this game and with help of his teacher Mr. Benson he understood how to play as a professional. Karanbir has gained immense knowledge and confidence and is able to play strategically with his opponents be it adults or kids. We are happy with his progress so far and look forward to seeing him excel in this game also as he has excelled in local tournaments while playing soccer and winning trophies for his team. “

” Mishika is a 8 year old Grade 3 student and lives in Canada. Mishika is a very kind, friendly and thoughtful girl who loves Math, Reading, Arts and Chess. She demonstrates creativity and passion in all things she does. She strives to be an attentive listener and to fulfil her commitments to her teachers. 10. Akshara Shanker
” Akshara is 6 years old,1st grader from Mission San Jose Elementary School from California. Her favorite color is blue. She loves Chess, her goal is to be an expert in chess. She likes to spend her time drawing, reading princess and Christmas books and playing games in Lichess. She is so happy to be a star kid. She plays chess with her brother, who inspired her to learn chess. She recently won her first trophy in the CalChess state tournament. 11. Darsh Jaiswal
” Darsh is an eighth grade student in Pond Road Middle School(PRMS), Robbinsville, NJ. He likes music and singing and will be seen as “Nigel” in the 2022-2023 PRMS musical school play, Matilda jr . He is very much interested in science and he is part of the PRMS science olympiad team for two years in a row , he secured the first place award at the Union County College regional science olympiad competition 2023. He has also joined an organization called Recycle My Battery and set a box in his school for people to recycle their batteries in because he wants to do his part to keep the earth clean. Some of his hobbies are drawing, making youtube videos, and playing chess.He enjoys playing in the PCA lichess tournaments and solving puzzles . 12. Arya Arun
” Arya is a 7-year-old, second grader from Cary, North Carolina. He is a very energetic, cheerful boy with his spirits always high. He started showing interest in chess after his trip from India in 2022 and we are glad we got him enrolled in Premier chess academy. Ever since then he has been obsessed with chess. Beside chess he shows deep interest in soccer. He spends most of his time building Lego with his friends and painting with his sister and cooking with his family. He is really fascinated by dinosaurs and aspires to become a paleontologist one day. We are grateful to have Nihal Mulla as his coach. ” Thanmayee is 7 years old and she is in 2nd grade. She likes painting, Kung fu and Dancing. ” Sanjay is a 5th grader from Round Rock, Texas. He joined the Premier Chess Academy last October and since then we have seen a marked improvement in his approach and strategies, including taking adequate time to think, analyze, and being choosy with his moves. ” Shreya Nagarajan is a 7 year old girl studying 1st grade at Odyssey Charter School in Wilmington, DE USA. Earlier, Shreya started to learn the basics from her sister and slowly she expanded her skills playing with her cousins and friends. Her curiosity in learning new moves in chess and trying to play the game with strategy made us approach a professional coach and that’s where we were introduced with Premier Chess academy. 21. Hridhaan Rana
” Hridhaan is in 6th grade from Connecticut. His area of interest is sports. His favorite games are soccer and badminton. ” Vandeet Turkar is thrilled to be selected as the Star of the Month January 2023. ” Parjanya is 14 years old and residing in Texas. He started playing chess 1 year ago with PCA. Though he did not show much interest during the initial days, he soon developed an interest and improved his way of playing. Coach Tejas is doing an admirable job teaching him chess and various strategies of the game. After joining PCA, Parjanya’s passion changed to chess from Nintendo. ” Hitesh Reddy Maddala is a 9 year old boy and a 3rd grader in Askew Elementary School,Houston. He is a fun-loving kid. He spends most of his time reading books and he loves to read comics, building Legos and playing board games. His chess skill has improved a lot and he is passionate about chess.
