At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. 1. DIYA VIPIN
” Diya is a 10 year old girl in 5th grade. She started her chess with Mihir Sir from 2023 onwards. She got a very good experience from Premier chess competitions. She enjoys reading, drawing, and painting.”

2. Dhyaan Dheeraj
”Dhyaan is a bright and disciplined student with a keen interest in chess. His analytical thinking makes him a strong player, always eager to learn and improve. Premier Chess Academy has given him the perfect platform to hone his skills and work towards a promising chess career. Beyond chess, Dhyaan is highly excelling in academics. With his passion for continuous learning, he is well on his way to achieving great success in both chess and academics.”

3. Janak Sethi
” Janak, a bright and friendly 7-year-old boy studying in Grade 2 from Oman, has developed a deep passion for chess since joining PCA. Under the guidance of his dedicated coach, Sarthak Dutta, Janak’s skills and gameplay have improved remarkably. He eagerly looks forward to attending live sessions, where the engaging puzzles and new chess techniques taught by Sir inspire him to play with even greater interest and enthusiasm. Beyond chess, Janak excels academically and has a strong passion for learning and playing cricket. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Sarthak Dutta for his constant support and to PCA for nurturing my child’s love for chess, providing a safe and encouraging space for him to learn, grow, and excel.”

4. Hridhaan Prashobh
” Hridhaan is a 11-year-old boy living in Doha Qatar. He is studying in Grade 6 at Noble International School Qatar. He started playing chess occasionally at home until he found the premier chess academy. He loves playing chess, reading books and playing football. He is enjoying and learning chess with full of interest. Thank you coach Rinku Jain for supporting and guiding Hridhaan to continue his learning and enhancing his interest in this beautiful game.”

5. Methsilu Rajapaksha
”Methsilu Rajapaksha is 9 years old and originally from Sri Lanka. He currently lives in Kuwait and is in Grade 4. He is a passionate young boy who loves chess, having started at the age of 6. He enjoys playing chess whenever he has free time. In addition to chess, he also likes playing the guitar and drums, as well as Minecraft.”

Selection Criteria – February 2025:
- Regular in class and practice sessions.
- Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
- Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
- Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
- Overall – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
