Terms and Conditions:
- “Not FIDE Rated Tournament”, latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply & the Swiss system will be followed.
- Mandatory for Players to provide the FIDE ID (arbiters won’t do this part) & if voluntarily hiding or giving misinformation’s may lead to disqualification from the tournament.
- Rating Consideration: Standard (Classical)
- Tie breaks: Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz,Sonneborn–Berger, Direct Encounter, Greater number of victories.
- Players to cross check the pairing details for category prizes accuracy & inform arbiter team before round 4 of the tournament. No ownership will be taken by Premier Chess Academy for the missing category information.
- No Spot Entries.
- Identity check will be performed prior to the tournament. Registration Name and Date of Birth must match that with the ID proof – where they differ you will be denied entry into the tournament.
- You consent to capture your photograph and videos for publishing and promotions on social media’s platforms.
- Indian Income Tax Act and Rules will be applicable.
- Any types of electronic devices/wristwatches will not be allowed in the playing arena.
- Cash prizes will not be shared. One player will get one higher Cash prize only.
- Participants to arrange all basic necessities (food, transportation, accommodation etc) to the tournament. Food & Refreshments will be available in the stadium for sale.
- Cancellation policy – non-refundable.
- Premier Chess Academy reserve the right to reject any entries & hold the right the cancel the event anytime.
- The walkover time for subsequent rounds in the chess tournament will be 10 minutes, while for the first round, it will follow clock time.
- All the players are required to mandatorily adhere the Covid protocol issued by Government of India.
- Due to any unforeseen circumstances, if the event is cancelled or postponed Premier Chess Academy obligation is limited to refunding the entry fees paid by the players.
- Premier Chess Academy reserve the right to expel participants from the tournament if they violate the rules, engage in unsportsmanlike conduct, or behave in a manner that disrupts the event or compromises its integrity.
- Weather conditions, Natural disaster or Political events may necessitate potential rescheduling, relocation, or cancellation of the event to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Any disputes or complaints should be reported to the Chief Arbiter immediately; the decision of the Chief Arbiter is final and binding.
