At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advice, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.
Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (June 2026) at Premier Chess Academy, Middle East!
1. Anandhu Anup
” What started as a joyful and constructive recreational activity as a child, today chess has turned into a deep passion for me. My grandparents introduced me to the game; I continue my learning journey under formal guidance of my dear coach Mr. Mihir Mehra from April 2026. Chess is helping me to shape up my character on analytical & observation skills, patience, strategize and decision making under critical situations. Beyond chess, I have keen interest in cooking, swimming, drawing, hot wheel collections and a petrol head wish to keep participating in chess tournaments along with my X board exam preparations.”
Coach feedback on Anandhu:
” Anandhu is a great student. He always does his homework whatever is given to him and also whatever we learn in class he tries that in the games at home as well which has helped him improve a lot in the recent month. His puzzle solving ability has improved a lot. He loves to try new things and learn new strategies. His critical thinking during the game also impressed me a lot. My best wishes with him moving forward.”
