Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (October 2025) at Premier Chess Academy, India!

1. Anjishnu Sadhu Gogoi

“Anjishnu is a bright and enthusiastic 7 years old boy from Guwahati, India, currently studying in Grade 2. He has a keen interest in mathematics and enjoys exploring numbers and patterns. Anjishnu also loves playing the piano and takes great joy in music. He developed an early fascination for chess, learning the basics from his grandfather and is now training under Coach Aniket under Premier Chess Academy. He has actively participated in several chess tournaments, demonstrating focus and a passion for continuous learning. We are greatly thankful to Coach Aniket for his engaging teaching style, and his remarkable ability to make problem-solving fun for young minds.”

2. Ritvik Arun

“Ritvik Arun is a 10-year-old boy who is always ready to explore new things. He brings energy and curiosity into everything he does! He has passion for chess and playing football. Ritvik is very responsible towards his work. Math is his favorite subject. His journey of chess began as a part of his exploration but very soon he developed deep interest in the game. In a short period of time his interest grew stronger and under the encouraging guidance of his coach he continues to sharpen his skills and develop strategic thinking. Hello loves making new friends and can adapt to any situation with ease. He likes to watch chess videos on the internet in his free time and also likes reading books.”

Ritvik is a disciplined personality, no matter what he does he likes to give his 100%, he loves challenges and tries to take on challenges heading on, he is applying new learnings well and I hope he is gonna become a FIDE rated player soon.

3. DEVADITYA SINGH

Devaditya is an enthusiastic and talented young learner whose passion for chess has greatly enhanced his focus, confidence, and problem-solving skills. His dedication to the game is reflected in his academic achievements and admirable sportsmanship. A disciplined, kind, and cooperative student, he also enjoys playing cricket and excels in sports. His steady progress at PCA stands as a testament to his growing excellence and unwavering commitment to learning.

Dev Aditya Singh is really performing better and better every day, I have seen him rectifying himself whenever we find any mistakes with his games, he keeps learning new things and memorizing them. He tries to practice in his available time. It clearly shows his love and passion towards the game. He is very focused in regular sessions & always tries to implement the concept in his own games. 4. Shathvik Vinodhkumar

He started learning chess from six years and his interest towards chess begins within our family, his grandfather Mr. Balakrishnan taught him chess when he was three years old. We noted that Shathvik showed interest in playing chess. He liked it and started playing with a passion. Shathvik shows more interest in exploring new things; he is also interested in space science and earth science. We are very happy that he got recognition in chess, thank you Sir. We thank this academy for making Shathvik to achieve his passion and goals and we are excited for his upcoming achievement and thank you sir for guiding him in this way.”

Shathvik brings remarkable energy and focus to every chess session. His curiosity, quick thinking, and consistent effort make him a strong performer and a pleasure to coach. 5. Vivaan Goyal

Vivaan Goyal, a 7-year-old from New Delhi, is a lively and curious child. His interest in chess began after watching his peers play and observing his elder brother participate in chess tournaments. Inspired by them, Vivaan developed a deep love for the game. Over the past five months, he has shown remarkable improvement under the guidance of his coach, Mr. Vaibhav Sharma. Thanks to his coach, Vivaan is highly motivated, eager to improve his chess skills, and always looks forward to his next chess class. He is also enthusiastic about participating in physical chess tournaments to gain more experience and exposure. Apart from chess, Vivaan enjoys painting, cycling, and playing video games, reflecting his diverse interests and creativity.”

Vivaan is a curious child who always arrives on time for class. He is regular and punctual, speaking little but always to the point. He has quickly improved his chess skills and maintains a smiling demeanor. His learning abilities are good, and he grasps concepts quickly. I am truly delighted to have such a student. Selection Criteria – October 2025:

Regular in class and practice sessions.
Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
Overall – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
