At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.

Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (April 2022) at Premier Chess Academy, Asia Pacific (Australia, Singapore and New Zealand)!

1. Mohammed Ayaan Tanveer

Ayaan is an 8 year old living in Singapore. He is a fun loving and enthusiastic child. His first introduction to the game chess was through the movie ‘Searching for Bobby Fischer’. The very next day he wanted a chess board and learnt the basics like how each piece moves with his dad. And surprisingly he could grasp the game quite easily. Then, he joined Premier chess Academy to learn the game more professionally. With all his other hobbies like swimming, playing piano and drama he also finds time to practice chess regularly with equal enthusiasm. We are thankful to his coach Mr Anshul who always motivates him and pushes him for consistent progress.”

Coach feedback on Ayaan :

Ayaan having a very unique concentration it seems like he is not concentrating at all but back at his mind he is always on focus on the problems I give it to him , he always try solve every puzzles however sometimes he gets sad too when he don’t get the answer which is good for a student if he is that much dedicated,  he has improved his game very fast and he will improve even further with much enthusiasm I believe. My best wishes are with him and my support always.”
