At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted the below students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.

Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (February 2021) at Premier Chess Academy, Middle East!

1. Armaan khan

“My son Armaan khan is 10 years old & we are a resident of Bahrain. He is a Student of New generation private school & in Grade 5. He found interest in chess when his father gifted him a chessboard and started learning rules, basic moves from his father. Looking at his interest level for the game, I enrolled him at PCA academy to formalize his  learning  on November 20. Since the last 3 months he has been  learning more about chess strategy, rules and tactics. Thank you Keshavendra sir for analyzing his games and your timely advice has helped him a lot. He spends his free time practicing chess to develop and improve his  game further & hopefully he will be a better player in future. All the very best”.

Coach feedback on Armaan:

“Armaan has attended all chess classes. He is always excited to learn new concepts in chess.  Armaan  always asks questions in class to clear chess concepts and this is the reason why he is now at next level intermediate. His performance in the practice chess tournament is extremely well. I am very happy with his learning attitude. I am very sure he will reach the top level of chess one day and become a grandmaster. All the very best to you dear Armaan”.

2. Madhav Arun

“Madhav started his coaching from last year now he is 7 years old, living in Muscat. Initial interest obtained from his Aunt and uncle and he was curious to learn more. Our fortunate to get a coach like Mr.Siddharth Bhatt and PCA to mould him in a professional level. He is exhilarated when playing, attending classes and he improved a lot. Once again, we thank the team.”

Coach feedback on Madhav:

“Madhav is extremely talented+ Hardworking kid. Only 6 years old and hardly misses any Practice session since the time he took admission. His strength is that he does not give any mistakes for the opponent, which denies much opportunity for the opponent to have. Also, he is not emotional when he loses the game. Still long way to go but a bright star and one to look for in future”.

5. Indira Hemchandra

“Indira is an Affable, decisive and Astute girl which made us choose chess for her. Honestly, she wasn’t passionate about chess until she joined PCA but with continued practice sessions she’s now able to compete with her brother. Thanks to the Coach Mr Ravi Kant Tiwari, she’s now happy playing chess. He’s the best master We would say as it’s not easy to convince Indira to accept anything. She’s in year 6 now and would definitely continue learning Chess”.

Coach feedback on Indira:

“Indira works so hard in chess. Basically, she is very punctual in chess. Learning from her mistakes and trying to rectify in her next tournaments is what makes her different. When other kids get dejected, she gets pumped up after losing and pushes herself one more time. If this attitude remains, she will go very far in chess”.
