At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted the below students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.

Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (January 2021) at Premier Chess Academy, Asia Pacific (Australia, Singapore and New Zealand)!

1. Kian Hathial

“Kian Hathial is smart funny bright and caring kid who  has a unique ability to connect with anyone he meets. His caring nature captivates whoever he meets. Kian loves science and maths. He loves playing with his lego’s and reading books especially Harry Potter. Kian has recently started playing chess but he has truly loves learning and playing  chess in PCA. He enjoys playing the tournaments”.

“Kian is highly energetic, enthusiastic kid. Having great command in most of the aspects of chess in very short time. He is always excited in learning and playing and you will always find him with smiling face”.

2. Aanya Majumdar

“Aanya is 10.5 years old and lives in Adelaide, Australia. She is fun loving, creative and always curious to learn a new skill. She loves reading, swimming, singing, dancing and playing the guitar. She is new to chess and took up coaching with PCA last month on insistence from her mum however she instantly fell in love with the game and now looks forward to her lessons and the online competitions. Credit to her coach Vaibhav for encouraging her and tutoring her to pick up the ropes of the game in quick time. Aanya loves chess as it is a game where you make your moves in silence and only open your mouth to say checkmate”.

“Aanya is very good listener, keen observer and self motivated. Her energy and enthusiasm level is exceptional. In very short time she is having command on most of the aspects of chess. She developed passion in chess which makes her unstoppable in games, puzzles etc. Rocking Chess days ahead..!”.

3. Bibhas Nanda

“Bibhas is 11 years old, smart, gentle, outspoken and fun loving boy. He loves playing Chess, Table Tennis and plucking the guitar strings. He looks forward to his chess classes and tournaments by Premier Chess Academy. Apart from learning chess he is also busy taking guitar lessons and python classes. Thanks a lot to his coach Anshul for enhancing his chess skills”.

“Bibhas is obedient kid, very smart and always attentive in class. He gives his 100% in every task and his performance in practice sessions and tournaments is very good, he is having a caliber of champion’s category. Keep going to heights – good luck!”.

4. Soham

“Soham is a 12 year old who has been learning chess for two months, and has been loving it. His liking for chess started since his mother played the game with him at an early age. Soham is a very social boy and apart from chess he likes to go outside, play different sports such as Basketball, Cricket, and also enjoys his time playing video games on his PlayStation. With the help of PCA, his chess skills have excelled to a different level”.

“Soham is a smart kid he loves to solve puzzles before his batch mates and he mostly solve it first, he is good at game too and his energy during the class brings the joy in the class”.

5. Jairaj Singh

“Raj has been an inquisitive child since a very young age. He has always had questions about how things work and why. Introducing him to play chess was the perfect way to shape his mind to comprehend complicated problems and enhance creative thinking. This game keeps him entertained and challenges his mind simultaneously as he is always learning new concepts. Thanks to PCA, Raj is not just learning chess but also polishing his skills for overall development”.

“Raj is an obedient child. In the class, Raj loves to discuss new variations and give out different ideas. During the practice sessions, Raj is very focused and gives his best with the aim to getting the first place. I’m very much optimistic for Raj’s chess career. 6. Divyadhaarani

“Divyadhaarani is a cheerful, caring, and nurturing person. She comes across as a helpful person and admired by her teachers for being kind and polite. She started playing chess at the age of 10 but in recent months we have recognized that she is interested to play Chess. That’s when we were exploring for a coaching session and we came across PREMIER CHESS ACADEMY.  Since the coaching, we are seeing significant changes to her approach to the game. Besides playing the tournament, she plays with her dad and brother. We have seen a major shift and she is also able to give tips to her brother. We are thankful and we hope to see Divya achieving new heights in her game”.

“Divya is an enthusiastic child. She is actively participating in the class. Divya has a curious nature and is always ready to explore new concepts of the game. She is hard working girl and always highly competitive in nature.
