Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (January 2021) at Premier Chess Academy, Middle East!

1. Arush Pal

“Hi everyone, I’m Arush. I’m 7 years old, studying in class 1 in Muscat. I found interest in chess when my mother gifted me a chessboard and started learning rules, basic moves from my father, and watching YouTube. Since December’20 I started chess coaching class in PCA and learned more about chess strategy, tactics. I also got opportunities to play in tournaments. Thank you Pushkar sir for analyzing my games and advice. Looking forward to learning more”.

2. Joshini Vijayakumar 

“Joshini is very interested to play Chess. So I can find premier chess online class. Her teacher Mr.Pushkar Jadhav teaches politely & interesting to teach Chess. Now she more curious to play & learning Chess. I believe in the future she will become a good chess player through Chess academic guidance. Thanks 🙏🏻”.

3. Pranet Shah

“Pranet is a 13-year-old cricketer whose interest lies in the subject of science. His time is divided between his coaching at the cricket academy and his chess training. He found the love for chess while playing with his father and now pursues it avidly. “.

4. Praket Shah

“Praket shah is a 13-year-old whose hobby is cricket. he also likes to sing and draw. he found his interest in chess when the lockdown started and is working towards becoming a better chess player”.

5. Rishima Gupta

“Rishima Gupta is 10 years old and a student of class 5. She has great interest in reading and prefers reading books above all. To our surprise, she found game of chess to be interesting and was very keen to join Premier Chess Academy (PCA) after the Demo class. As she prefers self-learning we were doubtful that she will continue, but thanks to her coach Mr. Siddharth Bhatt for making classes so interesting, energetic and informative”.

“Rishima is extremely enthusiastic in chess and always interested to learn new things in chess. Never been once she’s been lazy in class. Extremely consistent in playing chess and hardly miss any Practice sessions. One more thing is her emotions, she is one of kid who don’t get so emotional after losing the game like other kids. She wants to learn from her mistakes and move on and apply her mistakes
in next games”.

6. Dhyan

“Dhyan loves Swimming, Programming and playing with his PlayStation. After joining chess classes, he shows interest in anything and everything related to chess. Chess practice sessions and tournaments helps him to learn to accept failure and gives confidence to move on to new challenges. Thanks to Coach Mr. Siddharth Bhat for your effort and excellent coaching. Thanks to PCA for your excellent service and commitment”.

Coach feedback on Dhyan:

Dhyan poise a good stable temperament in chess which is needed in longevity in chess. He don’t get excited or too disappointed after losing and take all the experience in a positive way. His game understanding is impeccable and his attitude to fight till end is what makes him special in chess. He has all the ingredients to make one to look for in the future.

7. Aagney Bijil

“Aagney is a very curious boy by nature. When Aagney showed interest in chess, we gifted him a chess set on his 7th birthday. At first he watched many youtube videos on how to learn chess by himself till we enrolled
him in PCA. He loves solving the rubik’s cube, playing basketball and drawing. He eagerly waits for his weekly practice sessions/ tournament. As a parent I really have to appreciate his mentor, Mr.Anshul Bathla who
lit that spark in Aagney and taught him very well as well as Premier Chess Academy for this opportunity”.

“Aagney is a sharp kid and despite being youngest in his batch he tries to give all the answers for each and every exercise I make them to do , also his performance has improved he started to look for the checkmate while in the middle game only and not to drag the game to the endgame”.

8. Huzaifa Nawfal

“Huzaifa Nawfal is a strong and ambitious 7 year old chess player from Sri Lanka, who lives in KSA. Ever since his first game he’s promised himself to dedicate immense amount of hours to learn chess and to one day overcome every opponent he had. He will find a way to make the best out of any game and turn it to his favor instead of accepting “defeat”. His moves are very quick and smart. For him winning is everything so he doesn’t let anything distract his goal of being a Grand Master in the long run. He was inspired by Magnus Carsen while PCA provided the best platform for him to bring about his latent potential and engage his mind to enhance his cognitive skills”.

9. Siddharth Sachdeva

“Siddharth has turned 10 this month and studying in 4th standard.  He is a brown belt holder in Karate, play football and table tennis at school level and can solve Rubik cube in less than one minute. He has started playing chess for last couple of months only and attained expertise with the excellent coaching and support provided by Premier Chess Academy”.
