“Saanvi is 8 years old. Her favorite sport is tennis, and her favorite subject is science. Saanvi joined chess 6 months ago. At the start I had to make her forcefully attend the classes (it was my interest to join her in chess). Later on, she started playing tournaments; she struggled to win even one game for many tournaments. Then with her trainer Rohit’s help and guidance, she started giving best and summer helped her to practice more and more. Now she loves chess. She doesn’t want to miss even a class, recently she went on adenoid surgery, though she did take class on the day after surgery. The credit goes to trainer Rohit and her hard work.”

“Saanvi is a strong solid chess player. She is excellent at solving puzzles and spotting opponents’ weaknesses. She is very regular in the practice sessions and is consistently securing top 5 positions. The progress she has made in the last few weeks has been incredible. She gained almost 400 rating points on lichess in the span of 4-5 weeks. It’s her constant hard work and regular practice that helped her reach this level. I am very happy to see her progress and wish her all the best for her upcoming events.”
