Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (June 2021) at Premier Chess Academy, Middle East!
1.Kartik Misra
“Kartik Misra is 7 years old and stays in Abu Dhabi UAE .He started playing casually with his elder brother and family and soon we realized that he has a natural flair for chess . Recognizing that, we enlisted him with PCA His coach Mr. Baivab has helped him in having deeper understanding of the game of chess. He has moved steadily to be a tactical thinker and has been able to continually improve his game . His game is maturing fast and he has moved ahead of his peers . Most importantly he really enjoys playing and further developing his game His chess journey has also helped him to be an independent thinker in his non chess activities as well”
Coach feedback on Kartik :
“Kartik being only 7 years old, the maturity and talent he possess is really unreal . At such a young age, his keenness to accept challenge and push his limits is really praise worthy. He is a very hard working, sincere and disciplined who usually doesn’t miss out on any practice session. As a mentor when I observe Kartik madness for Chess it really motivates me a lot and his work ethics is also another thing which I like to copy. His performance in classes, and his results in practice session are really remarkable. The way he has made progress in recent times gives a proof that he is not only a quick learner but also someone who accepts failure in a positive way and try to learn from it. His approach towards handling problem and the friendliness with which he helps out his batch mates is really admirable. He also have age on his side and I do believe with proper training and encouragement he will achieve a lot in future. As a coach I feel quite privileged to have Kartik as my student. My best wishes with Kartik moving forward.”
