1. Shreyas Shivanand Mandagani
” Shreyas is 10 years old, a student at BVB, Kerala. He is very passionate about chess. He developed his interest in chess when he got an opportunity to play chess at school. Apart from chess, he loves reading and playing football. He joined PCA 2 months back under the guidance of coach Anshul who guided him to explore various horizons in chess. We are extremely grateful to the mentor Anshul and the entire PCA team for this wonderful support and guidance.”

2. Pradyumna Sahoo
” Pradyumna Sahoo. He is very obedient , disciplined and good at studies. He is in Ninth Grade , and goes to Whitefield Global School. He loves playing cricket and football apart from chess. He is a very shy person.”

3. Daniel Roland David
” Daniel Roland David is 9 years old studying in grade 4. He has been enjoying playing online chess with PCA coaching classes. He is an enthusiastic learner. He is always curious to learn new things. Recently a tournament played offline, challenged him to play and practice more chess. I would like to thank his coach Kunal who never gives up on him.”

4. Saatvik Majumdar
” Saatvik is 13 years old, He is studying in 9th std. He lives in Faridabad. He is very good in studies and indoor sports. He joined PCA 1 year ago. He is very fond of chess and he finds free time to play chess besides his busy schedule of studies. We are very thankful to Mr. Shahid for guiding him properly. Now current coach Mr. Sarthak is also guiding him very well to enhance his skills.”

5. Harsha vardhan Alapati
” Harsha Vardhan Alapati is 10 years old , studying in Westberry school at tenali. He has been learning chess for 6 months now which has become his daily hobby along with other outdoor activities. This happened with the support of Shiva Kale sir who guided him very well and he’s still learning a lot from his sir who has been a very supportive mentor. ”

6. Tharani
” Tharani is 10 years old. She is studying in the 5th grade at Gopalan National School, Bangalore She is very active and passionate about learning something. She enjoys playing chess a lot. Tharani joined PCA in January 2023, and she is fond of the teachings of Viswanath sir, and she is happy to have Viswanath sir as her coach. Sir guides Tharani very well whenever needed. We, the parents of Tharani Yazhini , are extremely thankful and appreciate Viswanath sir for his attempt and motivation to improve Tharani a lot. Tharani has also been awarded the Gold Medal in the Olympiad. She is also learning Karate and loves to play badminton We thank PCA and Coach Viswanath for all their support and helpful guidance.”

7. Mihika Reddy Annem
” Mihika is 11 yrs old and is a 6th grader in Sancta Maria International School. She joined PCA academy almost a year back and has quickly grasped the concepts. Her interest and dedication towards chess is quite impressive. She is constantly motivated to participate in the weekly tournaments and chess games organized by PCA. I am glad she has excellent coaches and mentors to guide her the right way from PCA.”

Selection Criteria – June 2023:
- Regular in class and practice sessions.
- Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
- Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
- Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
- Over all – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc
