2. Abhi Mahankali
” Abhi is a 3rd Form student, studying in Auckland, New Zealand. He is a well behaved and smart boy with a great passion for chess. Apart from chess Abhi plays field hockey, swimming, learns key board & computer coding as his other hobbies. His primary teacher has identified Abhi’s affinity towards chess. At age of 10, Abhi played as a team member representing his primary school at the national chess championship. Abhi along with his school team were successful in securing second place. It was a very proud moment for us. It has come to the stage where Abhi needs a coach. Three months ago, we came across PCA. We are very fortunate to have Ramendra Ranjan at PCA as his coach, who provides constant support and brain teasers which helps Abhi to think out of the square and improve on his strategies.”
Coach feedback on Abhi :
” Abhi is an intelligent boy. At such a young age his attitude towards learning new things is just commendable. Abhi is doing very well and is a quick learner . In very less time he improved a lot and did very well in practice sessions and had an impressive rating of more than 1000+ . This is just the beginning and at this point such type of quality, responding to puzzles and on various aspects shows that he will do much better in future. I feel privileged to have Abhi as my student. My best wishes are with Abhi.”
