At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advice, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.

Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (March 2025) at Premier Chess Academy, Middle East!

1. KIRITHARAN THARUN

” Kiritharan Tharun aged 9, started his journey with premier chess academy on chess two years back with the guidance of coach Ramendra Ranjan. He achieved remarkable achievement with his coach’s effort. We really appreciate the hard work done by the team. wishes.”

” Tharun is really performing better and better every day, I have seen him rectifying himself whenever we find any mistakes with his games, he keeps learning new things and memorizing them. He tries to practice in his available time. It clearly shows his love and passion towards the game. He is very focused in regular sessions & always tries to implement the concept in his own games. I wish him very good luck for his Chess Career…!

2. Alexander Mathew

“Alex is a bright 8-year-old who loves playing chess at Premier Chess Academy under the guidance of Mr. Rinku. It sits high among his many interests like football, basketball, Math and Rubik’s cube. He loves learning something new every day and being challenged to think differently. These qualities have helped him be marked as Gifted and Talented in school as well.”

Coach feedback on Alexander:

” Alex is a young talented kid who started learning chess a few months ago and found great interest in this game. He likes to learn different chess strategies in classes and try them in practice sessions. He plays chess matches and analyses those games in regular classes. He is a boy who never feels shy in asking doubts or questioning the teacher in the class. I am very happy with his progress and hard work. I wish him all the best for his future.

Selection Criteria – March 2025:

  • Regular in class and practice sessions.
  • Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
  • Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
  • Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
  • Overall – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
