“My name is Sai Galla, and I was born in the United States. My parents are originally from India, and they have always supported my interests and encouraged me to work hard both in school and in chess. I also have a brother who plays chess, and we often play against each other to challenge ourselves. My brother has a rating of around 2000 Elo, while I am currently around 900 and working hard to reach 1000. Even though he is much stronger, I have managed to beat him twice, and those victories motivate me to keep improving and pushing myself further. I started playing chess when I was 7 years old, where I was first introduced to the game through lessons taught by a state chess champion. Since then, chess has become an important part of my life. About one year ago, I joined Premier Chess Academy, where I have been training consistently and learning new strategies, tactics, and ideas that help me improve every day. Outside of chess, I work very hard in school and enjoy learning. My favorite subject is Mathematics, and I also really enjoy Spelling. I like math because it involves problem-solving and logical thinking, which are skills that also help me become better at chess. One of my biggest inspirations in chess is Dommaraju Gukesh, the Grandmaster from India. Watching his achievements inspires me to dream big and believe that anything is possible with dedication, discipline, and hard work. “Arhant Sanjay Sisale is a 12-year-old student in the 6th grade. He was born in Michigan. Some of his hobbies include playing chess, swimming, Taekwondo-do, coding, playing trombone, and drums. “Yuvan is a bright and enthusiastic 9-year-old boy who is studying Grade 4. He is from Tampa, Florida. He is a good and obedient child. Yuvan has multiple extracurricular pursuits. He enjoys playing cricket and soccer and has a special love for the NFL. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are his favourite NFL team. He also enjoys playing piano.Yuvan started his chess journey at the age of 7. Since then, he showed keen interest in the game and started participating in local chess tournaments. Special appreciation to PCA and his coach Ayush who has guided him all along and helped him learn new skills and concepts. He loves how the coach follows up and reviews the steps after every game.
