At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.
Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (May 2022) at Premier Chess Academy, Asia Pacific (Australia, Singapore and New Zealand)!
1.Cayden zhe yu
“He has been with PCA since end of last year. It’s been a fruitfulness duration with the coaches and team mate. Cayden is a 5 years old boy who shown interested in chess since he was 3.5 years old. He is able to pick up the tactic and become calm and analytics when he was facing the opponents. He is very thankful for coach showing him patience and teaching him all the skills on playing well in chess.”

“Cayden is very cute but a sharp boy he is way ahead in chess according to his age his all class mates are elder to him buy he leaves no opportunity to not just compete them but also beat them in game and problem solving , I am really impressed by the zeel of him learning new things every day , my best wishes and full support with him . 2.Preetham
“Preetham is an 11-year-old boy, who lives in Singapore. He is enthusiastic and humorous. He was inspired by his brother who also joined the Premier chess academy. Preetham has been learning chess since march 2022. He had improved in his chess at a greater rate with the help of his Coach Ramendra Ranjan. Not only does Preetham show interest in chess, but he also shows interest in other activities like playing basketball, Swimming, Castor boarding, cycling, etc. We are thankful to his coach who has always been motivating him and for selecting Preetham as the star kid of May.”

Best part of his, is that he always used to ask his doubts which shows his attentiveness and interest in the game. He is a hard-working kid who takes interest in learning new concepts in chess. His performance in classes, speed of solving puzzles and approach towards handling the problems is remarkable. Honestly, I’m very happy and very proud to have Preetham as a student . 3. Jovi Khatri
“Jovi is a grade 7 student living in Melbourne. In addition to chess he plays tennis and enjoys swimming. Jovi plays piano and likes to create his own tunes as well. He is an avid reader and always appreciated for his creative writings. We are proud of Jovi.”

Selection Criteria – May 2022:
- Regular in class and practice sessions.
- Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
- Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
- Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
- Over all – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
