2. Muhammed Shamil
“Shamil was introduced to chess by his cousin at the age of 7. Since then he had a profound interest in chess but did not take care of it as he wanted to, then online classes gave him the exact opportunity, searched for the best and got ‘ Premier Chess Academy ‘. He enjoys his classes a lot and loves the thrill of the tournaments and is really happy to see his astounding spirit in the games. 6. Arya Goel
“Arya is studying in 8th class and located right now in Ghaziabad .Whatever the thing he is doing from his childhood he always involves himself fully. In studies and Cricket, he already performs very well but recently from the last 1 year he has shown his interest in chess so I thought he should join some academy. 7. Kavin Godhwani
“Kavin (8 years old) being a hyperactive child from India had to be kept occupied every now and then. Kavin is an ardent fan of tennis and daily practices his lawn tennis. So, during the lockdown when the entire world had come to a standstill, I enrolled him in an online Chess class in Premier Chess Academy to keep him engaged. Gradually Kavin started taking interest in chess and excelled in many of the matches. His coach helped him a lot and taught him all the moves. To keep himself abreast, Kavin also surfs the net and watches the videos of the grandmaster’s past games, and analyses their techniques and strategies. Thanks to his Coach Harshita who, being a good coach and mentor, encouraged him from time to time which helped him to a great extent, not only in chess but also to think holistically and strategically.”

8. Tanush Shah
“Tanush is a 7 years old boy from Chennai – India. He started playing chess a few months back. His interest in chess has been growing ever since he joined PCA. A great effort put in by his mentor Mr.Jeet has continued to make his chess skills improve every day. He is always looking forward to his class. Tanush is a very inquisitive child and is often known as the Curious George in his class, loves to Code Scratch games, develops websites, plays Football & Piano, enjoys spending his time building Lego and makes lovely Origami crafts. He loves playing chess with his elder sister Riya who is also taking classes with PCA. Both give tips to each other on how to improve their chess skills and what steps can be played in case there is some error move made by any of them. 9. Yedhant Agarwal
“Yedhant is 5 years old, and lives in Sikkim, India. He started playing chess in April 2021. He started his first coaching with the coach, Baivab Mishra. He played his first online North-East tournament from 3rd September to 5th September 2021. He played open rapid chess tournament at Gangtok from 27th September to 30th September 2021 and stood 2nd position in the under 8 years age category.”

10. Aishwarya Singh
” During the lockdown, my child, who was not interested in chess before, tried playing with me. He lost before, but then he prepared himself by watching YouTube videos. He practiced and slowly became better and was very interested. So we put him into PCA. Since then, he has become so much better, practicing with his coach Pushkar Jadhav and taking out time to play and learn chess even on his most hectic days.”

“Aryan Sood is 15 years old and resides in Gurgaon. He is a quick learner and extremely passionate about playing chess. Chess was introduced to him by his father during the lockdown period. Aryan showed immense interest in Chess and started solving online puzzles in his free time. Within 4 months by watching online games on YouTube he improved his game and his ranking went up considerably on the online platform. So I encouraged him to go for professional training and got him enrolled in PCA. His Coach Rakesh from PCA is doing a wonderful job to teach him in an enjoyable way and we have noticed a great improvement in his game. In addition to chess, he loves playing and watching football.”

” Ayush is 10 years old who studies in 4th grade in Delhi Public School. He is very fond of chess. His favorite openings are Blackburne Shilling Gambit and King’s Gambit. His favorite variants of chess are Rapid and Blitz. His favorite app where he plays chess is lichess.org. He started playing chess as a hobby during the pandemic and lichess was the perfect place to spend quality time honing his chess game and also made wonderful friends to interact and learn. Both the coaches he interacted with on this platform are very cool and supportive. He likes the most to play puzzles. His dream is to become a Grandmaster and represent India in tournaments in future. He is eagerly waiting to participate in the PCA world cup.”

“We enrolled Naman in chess classes during the beginning of the pandemic to keep him engaged at home. What started as a fun hobby quickly turned into a passion. From the time he gets up till he goes to bed Chess is all he thinks, talks, and dreams about! He loves solving puzzles and reading books related to chess. When he isn’t in front of a chessboard, he loves to play cricket, paint and read books. A good mentor is extremely important in nurturing talent and he couldn’t have found a better one than Coach Rinku Jain. He waits eagerly for his weekly classes and greatly relies on the guidance and feedback from Rinku Sir. We are extremely pleased with his performance over the past year and have witnessed his game grow from strength to strength.”

“Nainika Sahoo is an 8-year girl from a small town in Odisha, India. Her chess began with her grandfather at home. But we believed that any professional teaching will better groom her in the game. We explored and chose PCA as her coach. Her progress in the game after she joined PCA is phenomenal. Now she can comfortably play with her father and grandfather. He has had a deep passion for chess from the age of 5 and he is aiming to play good international chess tournaments. He had been enrolled in PCA for a year. - Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
- Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
