2. Sai Shravan Santhosh
” Sai Shravan Santhosh is 8 years old and started playing chess for fun with his parents and friends. His fun transformed into playing games with focus and seriousness when he won second place in a local chess competition. His parents found that chess enthusiasm in him and encouraged him to play more local tournaments. After that there was no looking back, at one point his parents felt that he needed training from a coach. That’s when Shravan started his journey with premier chess academy. As soon as he comes back from school the first thing he loves to do is playing chess games online. Other than chess, Shravan loves playing basketball and soccer. He is the winner of the Math Pentathlon in the state of Indiana. About the academy: As parents we feel he is getting what is needed for a chess player of this age. The coach is patiently Addressing all the students and clarifying their doubts. There is good engagement between students and the coach. We expect more tournaments of this type from the academy which will encourage students like Shravan and help them prepare for future bigger competitions. “

3. Saswath Kannan
” Saswath Kannan is an 8 year old second grade student. Saswath loves space concepts, obsessed with large numbers, and the concept of the infinite (wonders how something can be infinite). As for chess, he never showed interest until he joined Premier Chess Academy. Thanks to his guru Ankush and his way of teaching, Saswath is all over chess for the past few months. We really hope this rapid interest continues for a long time.”

4. Saathvik Maddula
” Saathvik is 9 years old from Houston, TX. He is a 4th grader who likes to play chess, board games and swimming. He also likes playing outdoor sports like soccer and cricket. He enjoys chess like any other board games, but after joining PCA his perception of looking into the game changed so much that he started enjoying it by applying the strategies he learned in his classes. ” Tvisha is 8 years old. She lives in Hopkinton Ma. She is bright, fun-loving and very friendly! She loves to play chess and loves planning on different strategies to win! Along with Chess, She enjoys singing, music & dance. Currently, she does ballet, piano, swimming, public speaking and aces in the Math world exam. 7. Arjun Malik
” Arjun Malik is a 13 years old 7th grader who lives in Delaware. Chess is his passion. Arjun started playing chess when he was 7 years old as a first grader. His passion started when his school offered a chess class. From that day forward he lives, breathes and sleeps chess. He is always grateful to coach Chris Mabe for teaching him chess. He loves to read chess books. He is always eager to learn new chess strategies. Arjun also enjoys playing basketball and playing Minecraft (he makes really cool builds) He joined premier chess academy Three months ago. Since then he is making great progress. ” Arjun being only 13 years old, the maturity and talent he possesses is really unreal. At such a young age, his keenness to accept challenges and push his limits is really praise worthy. He is a very hard working, sincere and disciplined person who usually doesn’t miss out on any practice session. As a mentor I observed that in the last few weeks Arjun has been regularly coming in top three of each and every practice session. His performance in the classes, and his results in practice sessions are really remarkable. The way he has made progress in recent times gives proof that he is not only a quick learner but also someone who accepts failure in a positive way and tries to learn from it. 14. Riyansh Chandupatla
” Riyansh Chandupatla is 10 years old and is in 5th grade. He lives in California, USA. He has one younger brother, who also attends PCA. He is very creative, enjoys doing origami and builds toys. He also loves music and plays piano in his spare time. He enjoys working in a team and is very considerate about his friends. Riyansh was first introduced to chess when he was 8 years old and used to play with his brother. The first time he ever played chess was when his uncle gave him a board game called “No-Stress-Chess.” It did not involve any type of chess skills. After that his dad, got a chess board from India. That is when he started to play with his brother, mom, dad, and even attempted to teach his grandma chess. Upon a friend’s advice he got enrolled in Premier Chess Academy (PCA). Riyansh’s coach is Kunal Kumar, he is very funny and makes learning fun and exciting. His coach introduced him to the daily PCA tournament and initially he did not play much in the tournaments, but after he saw his brother’s rating on Lichess (800+) he was determined to beat him. With the help and guidance from his coach, Riyansh gradually started playing more practice games and that helped him improve his skills and rating. We would like to thank coach Kunal for encouraging Riyansh to practice and play more games and teaching him new skills.”

28. Samiksha Nair
” Samiksha is 5 years old and lives in Mason, Ohio. She is a very active child, loves reading and playing. One of our family friends gifted her Chess game and that’s when she saw this game for the first time and insisted we teach her. With each passing day we have only seen her love and enthusiasm towards chess growing and that’s when she was enrolled into PCA in June 2022. Thanks to her coach Tigmanshu who taught her playing Chess and have seen her game improving ever since.”

29. Rohan Uddagiri
” Rohan is a 3rd grade student living in Irving, Texas and likes to play chess, swim, watch super hero movies & cartoons, reading story books and solving math puzzles. He loves to spend time with his little sister and play with parents. He developed a lot of interest in playing chess and spending time on playing chess puzzles in lichess portal and we truly thank his coach Tushar for all his effort and patience to bring him to this level!.”

30. Sreevatsa
” Sreevatsa is a 9-year-old in 4th grade. Initially, he started playing chess on streaming devices and started to enjoy it. He always asks us to play with him and also when anyone comes home. He joined PCA probably a year ago and loves the way Viswanath Sir teaches. He has tremendously improved after joining PCA. Mr. Viswanath is always there to help him clear up doubts, either in the group or personal class. He is his favorite coach. Apart from chess, Sreevatsa likes to play with Legos, board games, and cricket. He also won the player of the match award in matches of Major League Cricket Academy. As parents, we are extremely thankful to Coach Viswanath for all his efforts in improving Sreevatsa’s games. Coach Viswanath encourages him to keep practicing and keep going with his advancement. He always gives constructive feedback to improve his game. Thank you, sir, and PCA for recognizing and helping Sreevatsa improve his game.”

31. Trinath Aashish Arvapalli
” Trinath is 11 years old, and a Fifth grader lives in Seattle, Washington .He is an active and friendly boy. He enjoys all games and loves playing chess. Also, he loves to solve puzzles and coding. He joined PCA and from there on he showed more interest in chess. He always tries not to miss practice sessions and these practice sessions encouraged him to apply all the tricks he learnt in the classes. Thanks to coach Raunak. His interest in learning chess made him super focused. He is working hard to improve his skills by implementing his coach instructions in his play regularly.
