Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (October 2023) at Premier Chess Academy, India!
1. Raayyan Manchanda
” Twelve-year-old Raayyan Manchanda is a kind, helpful, gentle, warm and a loving human being. He is multi-faceted and a talented individual. Being an avid reader he rejoices books from different genres. He is also passionately training himself as a table tennis player. Raayyan is a gifted classical singer too, and despite pursuing his interests he consistently holds the top position in his academics in 7th-grade at Shikshantar School, Gurgaon. His passion for chess ignited during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he began playing friendly matches with his father. This initial spark fueled his determination to delve deeper into the ever intriguing world of chess and he won Gold in ICSE regionals 2022-23. Further guided by PCA and his mentor, Mr. Anshul Bathla, Raayyan is committed to explore newer chess strategies and steadily gaining the confidence required to compete at a higher level.”

Selection Criteria – October 2023:
- Regular in class and practice sessions.
- Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
- Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
- Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
- Over all – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
