“Devakarthikeyan is a quick learner, passionate and creative student, studying in grade 5 in Indian school Salalah, Oman. He was born on 13th June 2011 in Chennai. He started playing chess in November 2020. I (father) myself taught him the rules to play chess. In his free time, he plays with me. I found out that he is getting really good over time. So I encouraged him to go for professional training. I came to know about one such platform PCA which does a very great job to encourage the students to learn professionally. His Coach Ankush Bhardwaj from PCA is doing a wonderful job to teach him in an enjoyable way. So far we have noticed an improvement in his playing style since the day he joined.”
Coach feedback on Devakarthikeyan :
“Devakarthikeyan is a highly energetic kid. He solves all the given assignments in a very short period of time. He always keeps on telling me that he came first in practice sessions. His love for chess and hard work will surely take him to great heights in the chess world.“

4. Adriel Kalarikkel Sebastine

We found him performing extraordinary even when he was playing with us and his sister at home. Once his sister introduced him to their Sports Teacher in the School when he was in KG 2. The Sports Teacher asked him to play Chess with those students from Grade 4 and above up to Grade 7 and found him defeating them in the trial competitions. The Sports Teacher rang us up to inform us of his talent in Chess and requested us to join him in any Chess Academy for further improvement. The teacher was also sad saying that he could not add Adriel to his Chess team since he was not aged enough to fit the group! It was even much later than we thought, or rather we got a chance to let him join under the guidance of Hardik Sir. Thereafter he had an amazing improvement and now we have no say but get defeated every time we play with him. I am proud to say this and realize the change occurred due to the proper guidance and instruction he received through Hardik Sir. Hope and wish Adriel will go on developing his skills in Chess further and prove to be a Chess Master in the future.”
