2 . Tng Yi Yang Caleb
” Caleb is currently studying in Primary 3 at St. Hilda’s Primary School, Singapore. Having picked up the game barely a year ago via Premier Chess Academy, he has grown in his knowledge of the game. Even at home, he is always keen on playing with his elder brother, father and grandfather, putting to practice what he learns from his coach, Mr. Ramendra Ranjan and pitting his skills against them. As he continues his journey of learning and improving while playing and competing both online and offline, his passion for this intellectual game continues to grow. We are glad that he embarked on this journey of learning Chess and how he never tires of wanting to play, compete and continuously learn. “
Coach feedback on Caleb :

Best part of him is that he always used to ask his doubts which shows his attentiveness and interest in the game. He is a hard-working kid who takes interest in learning new concepts in chess. His performance in classes, speed of solving puzzles and approach towards handling the problems is remarkable. Honestly, I’m very happy and very proud to have Caleb as a student . He’s sharp, a fast learner, and very talented. I can see a bright future ahead! Keep it up! ”
