At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.
Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (September 2023) at Premier Chess Academy, India!
1. Saathvik R
” R. Saathvik is a 7 years old fun loving boy, in his 3rd grade, in Velammal Vidhyashram, Ambathur, Chennai. Chess is one of his new found passion apart from art, martial arts and gardening. As parents, we are ecstatic to see him grow in the world of chess. All credits to PCA and his coach Narendiran sir. He has been showing consistent improvement and has been exhibiting tremendous confidence when competing with higher caliber players. We wish him all the best under the able guidance of Mr. Narendiran.”
Coach feedback on Saathvik :
” Saathvik is very smart, clever and a quick learner. He’s very active & punctual in the class. He loves to solve puzzles, learn new topics, play games etc. He loves to compete in offline tournaments as well. Apart from Chess, he had created a world record in arts! I wish him all the very best and great success in his upcoming tournaments. “

2. Aarav Ajit
” Aarav is 7 years old and is studying in grade 2 in Mount Carmel Central School, Mangalore.
We put him into chess at a very early age to keep him engaged in his free time and he immediately got hooked onto it. His learning in chess got formalized once he joined PCA Academy a few months ago and this has also presented to him new challenges and goals to achieve for himself. His interest in chess has increased manifold since then and he looks forward to attending Bhaskar Sir’s class every Friday. Aarav loves participating in offline chess tournaments and has bagged prizes in most of them. Apart from chess, Aarav loves travelling, playing cricket and football and spending time with his cousins. With PCA Academy support, we look forward to see Aarav scaling new frontiers and achieving his aim of becoming a young grandmaster.”
Coach feedback on Aarav :
” Aarav is a very silent kid. He listens to everything that is being said to him. Regular in playing sessions and very attentive in class. The way he deals with tactical situations is quite good. I hope he will be doing better in the upcoming times! Being a coach I’m very happy to have him and my best wishes will always follow his path. Good Luck Aarav!! “
