We, at Premier Chess Academy, have some great news to share! We just opened our very first collaboration center in God’s Own Country – in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Well, come on over, we would love for our students, parents and the team to visit us. After all, the collaboration center is designed to be a fun place for kids to hang out, play chess and engage in other puzzles.

The center itself is easily accessible, being centrally located at

DOTSPACE
Cliff, 3, Market Rd, Kuravankonam,
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695003
Phone: +91 87148 81281

At the center, you can always expect to find coaches ready to play a simultaneous game with you. You will also find a variety of other board games and puzzles that can be enjoyed with your friends. So welcome!

Meanwhile, if you think any of your friends would like to sign up at the center, go ahead and refer them now! Ask them to sign up here(psst, every successful referral gets you a 10% discount off one month’s fee!).

Another interesting thing about the center is the focus on local language – we have coaches who speak malayalam, the local language at the center. We are now hiring even more coaches into the center and you can refer coaches too!

PCA goes Hybrid with School Collaboration

We not only opened our first collaboration center, but also for the first time we are going hybrid with a key collaboration with Doon Public school in Trivandrum. As part of this initiative, we will set up a Centre of Excellence for Chess within the school premises.

We will also be providing a combination of offline and online classes to the students of the Doon Public School as they embark on a mission to groom FIDE rated players from their school with the help of Premier Chess Academy.

The Family Carnival

And then came the big celebration!

We organized a never before seen event at Trivandrum! A Family Carnival where kids and parents came in huge numbers to have a day of quality fun – solving puzzles, playing games and winning tons of prizes.

The Carnival was held at the Rotary Club, inaugurated by the Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram, the young and dynamic Ms. Arya Rajendran who even participated in the fun by visiting the VR booth.

We had a great turnout, with over 150 people attending. There were 8 booths with different activities and the kids could go to all the booths, surprise us all with their enthusiasm and collect goodies at the end.

Check out this quick reel to get a flavor of what was happening at the tech booth – and we got an amazing response too!

Like always with PCA, the focus was on the kids having fun. That is our philosophy when we teach chess too – we get them to be passionate about the sport and the rest just follows.

As you can see, FUN is one thing everyone had loads of at the Carnival !
