April 2024 was a month of great triumphs and achievements for our young chess enthusiasts at the Premier Chess Academy (PCA). Our students, under the guidance of our dedicated coaches, have made us proud by excelling in various tournaments across the globe. Here’s a glimpse of their Triumph Tales success stories:

USA

      • Krish secured 3rd position in both tournaments at the Kings and Queens Chess Tournament & Chess Kiddo Tournament with a perfect score of 5 out of 5 matches. His coach, Piyush Khuarana, has been instrumental in his success.

      • At the US Chess National High School Championships- U1200 category, Rishaan Reddy ranked 24th in the tournament with a score of 5.5/7. His coach, Rajat Malik, has been a guiding force.

      • Udit secured first place in the U-1400 category at the Frisco Swiss Tournament with a perfect score of 4 out of 4 points. His coach, Venkat Ramana Ramesh, deserves recognition for his efforts.
      • At the 2024 FSCL South Regional Tournament in K-3 Category, Prahar secured 3rd with a score of 4/5. His coach, Prajwal Gupta, has been instrumental in his success.

      • Devansh Peddi secured 3rd rank at the Worcester State University Free Tournament U-1600 category with a score of 3/4. His coach, Sarthak Dutta, deserves a round of applause for his guidance.

      • Sri Dheeraj secured 1st Rank in Unrated category at the Middle Tennessee Christian School Scholastic Chess Tournament with a score of 3/5. His coach, Sarthak Dutta, has been a constant source of inspiration.

      • Pratik Fernandes secured 2nd place at the Pennsylvania G26D3 Championship – East (PA) with a score of 3/5 points. His coach, Devansh Singh, deserves a round of applause for his guidance.

      • Sowbhagya Velagala secured 3rd place at the Fountain Valley School Scholastic Tournament 2024 with a score of 4/5. His coach, Atam Jeet Singh, has been instrumental in his success.

      • Suryansh Marunvada secured 1st place at the Rockville Quads Chess Tournament with a perfect score of 3 out of 3. His coach, Anshul Bathla, deserves recognition for his efforts.

      • Janice was the 1st place at the Purnav India Cultural Fest with a perfect score of 4 out of 4 points. Her coach, Ayush Pattanaik, has been a pillar of support.

      • Vivaan secured 3rd place at the T.H. Rogers Chess Tournament. His coach, Atam Jeet Singh, has been instrumental in his success.

      • Kaarthikeya secured 1st place at the Pleasanton K-12 Championships 2024 with a perfect score of 4 out of 4 points. His coach, Atam Jeet Singh, deserves a round of applause for his guidance.

  • Sriyan secured 5th place at the Charlotte Chess Tournament with a score of 3/4. His coach, Rinku Jain, has been a constant source of inspiration.
  • He also received the Top Scorer Award at the Unrated Team Challenge with a score of 3 out of 4. His coach, Rinku Jain, has been a pillar of support.


INDIA

  • Devit Chirag Singh increased his rating by 34+ points at the 6th Holi Cup Tournament with a score of 5.5 points out of 9. His coach, Arekn Rakesh, deserves a round of applause for his guidance.


  • Namit Goel secured 3rd place at the 4th Checkmate Chess Club One Day Open Chess Tournament with a score of 3 out of 4. His coach, Anshul Bathla, has been a guiding force.


    Bahrain

  • At the ACA Ramadan Blitz Chess Tournament- FIDE Rated, Aradhy Roy secured 6th Rank in Blitz and Champion of U-1500 category. His coach, Sarthak Dutta, deserves recognition for his efforts.
