Triumph Tales: Celebrating Our Young Champions (1-31 December 2023)

December 2023 was a month of great triumphs and achievements for our young chess enthusiasts at the Premier Chess Academy (PCA). Our students, under the guidance of our dedicated coaches, have made us proud by excelling in various tournaments across the globe. Here’s a glimpse of their Triumph Tales success stories:

Triumph Tales Celebrating the Success of Our Young US Chess Champions

US 

Yashas Veerapaneni, from the USA, emerged as the Champion of the event at the 2023 Winter NYOS Scholastic Chess Tournament with an impressive score of 4.5/5. His coach, Rajat Malik, deserves a special mention for his guidance.

Sriaansh Battula, another bright star from the USA, clinched the title at the Telugu Association Chess Tournament with a perfect score of 4/4. Kudos to his coach, Tigmanshu Dave, for his unwavering support.

Sriaansh Battula, from the USA, was awarded the title of the Best Unrated Player at the Saturday Tournament Organized by the Tri-Bridges Chess Club with a score of 2/4. His coach, Tigmanshu Dave, has been a constant source of inspiration and guidance.

 

Nikshit Harshan Alangankancharla, from the USA, was crowned the Champion of the event at the Nebraska Rapid and Blitz Championship in U800 Category with a score of 3.5/4. His coach, Devansh Singh, deserves applause for his mentorship.

Dhwani Gupta, from the USA, emerged as the Champion of the event – U-16 Girls at the 12th CASPL Christmas Junior Chess Challenge 2023 with a score of 4/6. Her coach, Anshul Bathla, has played a crucial role in her victory.

Harshavardan, from the USA, won the 1st prize at the USCF Scholastic Tournament with a perfect score of 3/3. His coach, Subash Sanker, has been a constant source of inspiration.

Nagarudr, from the USA, secured the 2nd place in the U-9 category at the Greater Chicago Indian Community Chess Tournament, 2023 with a score of 6/7. His coach, Ramendra Ranjan, deserves a special mention for his guidance.

Ishaan Ghosh, from the USA, clinched the 1st place at the Christmas Chess Tournament, Foster City, California with a perfect score of 3/3. His coach, Sarthak Dutta, has been a guiding light in his journey.

Kiaan, from the USA, secured the 2nd rank at the “Excel with Chess” Academy Tournament. His coach, Prajwal Gupta, has been his pillar of strength.

Dhruv, from the USA, secured the 2nd place at the Mountain House Friday Night Chess Tournament with a score of 4/5. His coach, Ramendra Ranjan, deserves applause for his mentorship.

Tanush V. Shah, from the USA, secured the 3rd position in the U-9 category at the 360 One Wealth All India Junior (U-15) Grand Prix Chess Series-2. His coaches, Bhaskar Sri Viswaroopanand & Baivab Mishra, have played a crucial role in his victory.

AdhyanBanuri, from the USA, secured the 6th rank at the Tri-Valley K-12 Premier & Champ Dec 2023 with a score of 3/4. His coach, Ritish Pathania, deserves a special mention for his guidance.

Middle East

Aradhy Roy, from the Middle East, secured the 3rd place at the U-15 Unrated Open Blitz Chess Tournament with a score of 7.5/9. His coach, Sarthak Dutta, has been a guiding light in his journey.

Triumph Tales Celebrating the Success of Our Young India Chess Champions

India

Dharanish, from India, secured the 2nd rank at the P.R. Ganesan 15th Memorial Children’s Chess Tournament with a score of 5.5/6. His coach, Tushar Sharma, has been instrumental in his success.

Jenil Parmar, our young champion from India, won the U-7 State Gujarat Chess Championship with a flawless score of 5/5. His coach, Bhaskar Sri Viswaroopanand, has been instrumental in his success.

Jagannath Kiran, from India, secured the 8th rank at the U-15 Knight Gambit Tournament, Kerala by PCA with a commendable score of 5/7. His coaches, Anirudhan and Prabhat, have been his pillars of strength.

Jaideep, from India, made it to the Top 10 among 350+ participants at the ACF Cup All India Chess Tournament with a score of 4.5/6. His coach, Pavan C, has been instrumental in his success.
