Triumph Tales : Celebrating the Success of Our Young Chess Champions : 1-31 July, 2023

At Premier Chess Academy, we are proud to announce the achievements of our talented students who have participated and excelled in various chess tournaments around the world. We congratulate them for their hard work, dedication and passion for the game. We also appreciate the coaches who have guided them and helped them improve their skills and strategies.
Here are some of the highlights of our young chess champions:

NORTH AMERICA

  • Venkat Karthikeya Reddy, coached by Arya Bhakta, from Canada won 1st place in the Canadian Youth Chess Championship under 8 category, scoring a perfect 7/7. Congratulations on your amazing victory, Venkat!
  • Karthik Mallavarapu, coached by Tushar Sharma, from the USA participated in the 2023 NATS NAT’L YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS and secured 5th place in the K-12, U-900 category with a score of 4/6. Way to go, Karthik!
  • Sakeet, coached by Aaryan Kapoor, from the USA achieved 3rd position in the Kings and Queens Chess Academy tournament. Fantastic job, Sakeet!
  • Ken, coached by Ruturaj Bhokare, from the USA participated in both The 2023 Summer Scholastic Cup and The 2023 DC Rapid Championship (Open). Keep up the great work, Ken!
  • Mihir, coached by Prajwal Gupta, from the USA attended a chess summer camp – Emerald Hills Chess Summer Camp and won a USCF rated, intermediate level tournament. Congratulations on your impressive win, Mihir!
  • Gautham, from USA, coached by Subash, won Consolidate prize (First achievement) at Kid Chess Tournament at Chess Zone, Atlanta with a score of 4/8. Way to go, Gautham!
  • Neerav, from USA, coached by Rakesh Kumar Nayak, won 1st Position at Monthly Open Grand Prix tournament with a score of 25/30. Fantastic job, Neerav!
  • Tanay, from USA, coached by Harry Khurana won Champion of the event at US Open USCF Chess Tournament 2023 with a score of 5/7. Congratulations on your impressive win, Tanay!
  • Krish, from the USA, coached by Piyush Khurana, achieved an impressive 3rd Position at the Fetna Online Chess Tournament (U-8 Category) with a score of 5/5. Congratulations on your fantastic performance, Krish!

SINGAPORE

  • Seth Mica Impureto Gonida, from Singapore, coached by Anshul Bathla, won 3rd Position at Fernvale Chess Club Meetup with a score of 5/6. Well done, Seth!

INDIA

  • Satyabrata, coached by Abhishek Patil, from India participated in a Children meet in Zaloni club, Duliajan and won 1st place. Well done, Satyabrata!
  • Samridhi, from IND, coached by Kunal, won Champion of the event at the Open Rapid Chess tournament-2023 (U-10 Girl Category) with a score of 4/5. Congratulations on your amazing victory, Samridhi!
  • Saathvik, from IND, coached by Narendiran won 15th Position at Freedom Fighters Kakkans Birthday Celebration TN Statel level Tournament with a score of 5/6. Great job, Saathvik!
  • Harshit Lad, from IND, coached by Sarthak Dutta won 1st Position at Anaya’s Chess Club Kolhapur 1st Classical Practice Tournament with a score of 4/6. Congratulations on your victory, Harshit!

ME

  • Goutham, coached by Kunal, won the title of Champion of the event at the Inter School Campus Chess tournament-2023 with a perfect score of 4/4.
  • Sriiyukthaa, from ME, coached by Soumyajit Das increased her Fide rapid rating by 100 points. Keep up the great work, Sriiyukthaa!
  • Aditya Rajesh, from ME, coached by Shahid Khan, won an outstanding 2nd Position at the Josh Chess Tournament (U-15 Category) with a score of 4/5. Keep up the great work, Aditya!

UK

  • Aiden McCarthy, from the UK, coached by Afinu, achieved a fantastic victory in his age category at the White Knights chess club tournament. Congratulations on your impressive win, Aiden!

We are very proud of these young chess champions who have brought laurels to our academy and their respective countries. We hope they continue to pursue their passion for chess and achieve greater heights in the future. We also thank their parents, teachers and friends for their support and encouragement. We look forward to celebrating more triumph tales of our students in the coming days.
