Here are some of the highlights of our young chess champions:
NORTH AMERICA
- Premsai from USA competed in the NJ scholastic U900 Tournament and secured the ninth place with 3.5 out of 5 points. He displayed excellent tactical skills and creativity in his games. His coach, Sahil Batra, congratulated him for his remarkable achievement and encouraged him to keep up the good work .
- Neerav from USA played in the Monday Knights Chess Tournament and finished sixth with 2 out of 4 points. He demonstrated strong strategic thinking and calculation abilities in his games. His coach, Rakesh Nayak, applauded him for his hard work and dedication.
- Kiaan from USA participated in the GGC Junior U-10 Chess Tournament in Dallas and became the runner up of the event. He impressed everyone with his sharp and aggressive play style and his confidence on the board. His coach, Ankush Bhardwaj, complimented him for his outstanding performance and potential.
- Vihaan from USA attended the Chess4life Chesskids Camp 2023 and won the first place with 4.5 out of 5 points. He showed great enthusiasm and passion for chess and learned a lot from the camp. His coach, Harry Khuarana, celebrated his success and motivated him to continue his chess journey.
- Anay Gupta from USA joined the Kings of Chess Tournament and clinched the first place with 4 out of 5 points. He played with great skill and determination and overcame many tough opponents. His coach, Baivab Mishra, was very impressed by him and his result.
- Aratsu from USA played in the 8th Annual Dublin Scholastic Chess Championship and won the champion title with 5.5 out of 6 points. He showed remarkable strength and depth in his games and outplayed many strong players. His coach, Harry Khuarana, was very excited for him and his achievement.
- Tanay Kanthi from USA participated in the September Scholastic Chess Tournament and finished second with 3 out of 4 points. He demonstrated excellent knowledge and understanding of chess and applied it well in his games. His coach, Keshav Mishra, was very satisfied with him and his result.
- Skanda from USA joined the Under-13 District Event 2023 and won the Champion title with 5.5 out of 6 points. He dominated the tournament with his powerful and accurate play and defeated many strong opponents. His coach, Harry Khuarana, celebrated his success and praised him for his potential.
- Janice Roi from USA participated in the Purnav India cultural fest and finished 1st in the event. She impressed everyone with her elegant and graceful play and her confidence on the board. Her coach, Sarthak Dutta, congratulated her for her remarkable performance and encouraged her to keep up the good work.
- Vibhav Sunkara from USA played in the Austin Scholastic tournament and secured the second rank in the event. He displayed excellent tactical skills and creativity in his games and handled the pressure well. His coach Saumil Shinde, complimented him for his outstanding result and motivated him to continue his chess journey.
- Sid from USA participated in the Calchess U1000 State Championship and secured the fourth place in the event. He played with great skill and determination and overcame many challenges. His coach Ritish Pathania, was very impressed by him and his result.
- Asva Ravichandran from USA played in the US CLASS SCHOLASTIC CHAMP (CA) and secured the third rank in the event. He impressed everyone with his sharp and aggressive play style and his confidence on the board. His coach, Rakesh Gurung, celebrated his success and praised him for his potential.
- Arjun from USA joined the Santa Clara Chess Tournament, California 2023 and secured the third rank in the event. He displayed excellent tactical skills and creativity in his games and handled the pressure well. His coach, Shiva Kale, congratulated him for his remarkable performance and encouraged him to keep up the good work.
ASIA PACIFIC
- Dhwani Gupta from APAC region was part of the team that finished third in the Inter School Team Chess Championship. She scored 3.5 out of 7 points and showed great teamwork and resilience. Her coach, Anshul Bathla, praised her for her consistent performance and improvement.
MIDDLE EAST
- Dahveed from Oman/ME region participated in the Indian Social Club Chess Tournament and became the champion of the event in the junior category. He displayed amazing talent and flair in his games and won many fans. His coach, Anshul Bathla, was very happy for him and his accomplishment.
- Vedesh from Oman/ME region competed in the Muscat grand mall U-9 Chess Tournament and secured the second rank of the event. He played with great poise and composure and handled the pressure well. His coach, Rinku Jain, was very pleased with him and his performance.
- Swarit Mehta from Qatar joined the 1st Indian DRS sports day special chess tournament and won the champion title with 4.5 out of 5 points. He played with great flair and finesse in his games and dazzled everyone with his moves. His coach, Soumyajit Das, was very thrilled for him and his accomplishment.
INDIA
- Nikith from India took part in the Tirupur District level Chess competition and won the first place with a perfect score of 4 out of 4 points. He dominated the tournament with his brilliant and flawless play. His coach, Anshul Bathla, was very proud of him and his achievement.
- Jagannath Kiran from India competed in the U-10 Trivandrum District Chess Tournament and secured the fifth place in the event. He played with great skill and enthusiasm and showed his love for chess. His coaches, Prabhat Kumar and Aniruddhan, appreciated him for his effort and improvement.
- Dhruti from India took part in the Andhra Pradesh State Ranking Open & Girls tournament and secured the second rank in the event. She demonstrated strong strategic thinking and calculation abilities in her games and outplayed many tough opponents. Her coaches, Baivab Mishra and Rakesh Nayak, applauded her for her hard work and dedication.
- Shrijoy Mondal from India joined the CHESS PRATISPARDHA INTER SCHOOL SPORTS GALA 2023 and finished second in the event. He showed great enthusiasm and passion for chess and learned a lot from the tournament. His coach, Sarthak Dutta, was very proud of him and his achievement.
- Sourish Gejara from India competed in the Round Rock ISD Chess Tournament and secured the sixth place in the event. He played with great poise and composure and showed his maturity on the board. His coach, Om Mishra, was very pleased with him and his performance.
- Arham Jain from India competed in the Hyderabad District Chess Tournament and secured the fifth place in the Under-09 age group. He played with great skill and enthusiasm and showed his love for chess. His coach, Pavan C, appreciated him for his effort and improvement.
- Inika Jain from India participated in the Hyderabad District Chess Tournament and secured the fourth place in the Under-13 age group. She impressed everyone with her elegant and graceful play and her confidence on the board. Her coach, Pavan C, complimented her for her outstanding result and motivated her to continue her chess journey.
We are very proud of these young chess champions who have brought laurels to our academy and their respective countries. We hope they continue to pursue their passion for chess and achieve greater heights in the future. We also thank their parents, teachers and friends for their support and encouragement.
