At Premier Chess Academy, we are proud to announce the achievements of our talented students who have participated and excelled in various chess tournaments around the world. We congratulate them for their hard work, dedication and passion for the game. We also appreciate the coaches who have guided them and helped them improve their skills and strategies.
Here are some of the highlights of our young chess champions:
NORTH AMERICA
- Saikavin who won the Friday Night USCF Scholastic Tournament, beating many strong opponents and becoming the Champion of the event. Saikavin impressed everyone with his tactical brilliance and creativity, thanks to his coach Ashutosh.
- Nikshith who secured the Second Position in the MidJuneChdarangam-U1000 Tournament, scoring 4/5 and demonstrating his solid understanding and strategy. Nikshith was coached by Devansh Singh, who helped him improve his game and confidence.
- Vivaan who swept the T.H. Rogers Summer Chess Camp Tournament in U-400 Category, scoring a perfect 5/5 and becoming the Champion of the event. Vivaan showed his dominance and flair in every game, thanks to his coach Atam Jeet Singh.
- Arjun Nair who finished Second in the FMCA Scholastic Tournament, scoring 3.5/4 and proving his mettle against tough competition. Arjun Nair played with finesse and flair, under the guidance of his coach Rakesh Kumar Nayak.
- Sritha Yalamanchili who won the American Legion Post 141 Chess Challenge IX (MD) Category K-5, clinching the First Position and showing her prowess and skill. Sritha Yalamanchili was coached by Rakesh Gurung, who taught her the finer points of chess.
- Srivanth who bagged the Third Position in the Open Life New India Foundation Tournament, showcasing his strength and resilience. Srivanth was coached by Om Mishra, who helped him hone his technique and tactics.
ME
- Aradhy Roy who participated in the TKS Chess Fest 2023, a FIDE Rated Open Rapid Event, and emerged as the Best Unrated player of the tournament. Aradhy displayed remarkable skills and determination under the guidance of his coach Sarthak Dutta.
- Sriiyukthaa who played in two events in Italy: The King of the Lake Rapid 15′ and The King of the Lake Blitz 5′. Sriiyukthaa scored 5/9 in both events, increasing her rating by 108 points in rapid and opening her blitz rating at 1500. She also won against a 1700+ player in blitz, showing her amazing speed and accuracy. Her coach Soumyajit was very proud of her achievements.
- Reyansh who participated in the Josh Junior chess Championship and scored 3/5, securing the Sixth Position in the event. Reyansh displayed his talent and potential, with the help of his coach Rinku Jain.
We are very proud of these young chess champions who have brought laurels to our academy and their respective countries. We hope they continue to pursue their passion for chess and achieve greater heights in the future. We also thank their parents, teachers and friends for their support and encouragement. We look forward to celebrating more triumph tales of our students in the coming days.
