At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advice, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.

Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (May 2026) at Premier Chess Academy, India!

1. Adiv Subhash

Adiv Subhash is 10 years old studying in std 5. He is hailing from Kerala, a beautiful place often called ” God’s own country”. He is interested in playing chess, reading, drawing and dancing. He was just 5 when his father first taught him the moves on a chessboard. After that he played chess exclusively with his father until 2025, when we discovered PCA and he enrolled in the academy. Thereafter he pursued chess with greater depth and showed remarkable improvement. We are deeply thankful to the academy and his coach Aniket for his excellent mentorship.”

Coach feedback on Adiv:

Adiv is a very passionate and enthusiastic child with a keen interest in learning chess. It is wonderful to see his consistent improvement through regular practice sessions. He listens carefully to instructions and sincerely tries to implement them in his games. His dedication, positive attitude, and willingness to learn will surely help him achieve great success in the future. Wishing him a very bright and successful future ahead!

2. Devaditya Singh

Devaditya has been training at Premier Chess Academy for the past four years, and this journey has been both enriching and rewarding. Over time, he has developed a strong foundation in the game along with growing confidence in applying his skills. This year, Devaditya participated in several open tournaments, which gave him the opportunity to apply the knowledge and strategies he has learned during his training. Competing against rated players across different age groups helped him step out of his comfort zone, think independently, and recognize areas where he can continue to improve. We are grateful to Ramendra Sir for his constant motivation, guidance, and encouragement, which have played a significant role in Devaditya’s progress. Chess has been much more than just a game for him—it offers a space to relax and enjoy, while also strengthening his thinking abilities, concentration, and overall aptitude. These skills have positively influenced his approach to academics and other areas of life. We look forward to continuing this journey with the same sincerity and dedication, so that he can further refine his skills and strive to achieve greater heights.”

Coach feedback on Devaditya:

Devaditya is a quick and attentive learner who approaches combinations with impressive precision. He grasps new concepts swiftly and applies them effectively during games. What truly sets him apart is his ability to learn from his mistakes and ensure they aren’t repeated, demonstrating remarkable growth through consistent effort. His competitive spirit drives him to excel. Keep up the excellent work, wishing you continued success.”
