At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.
Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (March 2022) at Premier Chess Academy, Middle East!
1. Mohamed Farhan
” Mohamed Farhan is 9 years old and studying in Grade 4, Primus Private School, Dubai. We enrolled him for chess classes to channelize his focus and further improve concentration span. When he started learning chess in 2020, we never knew he would get so much interest. His motivation and interest grew only after he started learning from Premier Chess Academy, thanks to his coach Mr. Baivab Mishra. His contribution to Farhan’s progress is highly commendable. He keeps the class so live and engaging which is not so easy in virtual classes. Farhan always enjoys attending Mr. Baivab’s class. Apart from chess he enjoys physical activities, he is a swimmer, passionate playing football, and now found a new interest in badminton. He loves reading, his favorite books are Geronimo Stilton Books. ”
Coach feedback on Mohamed :
” Farhan is extremely hard-working and always ready to take up Challenges. At such a young age his passion and dedication to the game are really commendable. He never gets upset for any downfall rather he keeps up his pace and continues to put effort with more dedication. He is a very regular kid, never missing classes or practice sessions. His performance in this month is praiseworthy since apart from mastering the “art of fighting losing position” and “implementing the learned concepts” he overcame the weakness of playing fast and not looking for opponent threats. He has consistently maintained his lichess rating and fought hard in each and every practice session game which really makes him a worthy star of this month. He has also solved a huge amount of puzzles in a short span of time which really proves his commitment to the game. Hope he continues to perform well and achieve his dreams in the long run. Being a coach I really feel lucky to have “Farhan” as my student and wish him to have an extremely successful life. ”
