At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advise, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.
Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (June 2022) at Premier Chess Academy, Europe!
1.Vihaan
“Vihaan is a 8-year-old cheerful kid from London who loves to play chess. He started playing chess at the age of 8 all by himself by looking through the chess book we had at home. He loves the 4 C’s as he calls it – chess, cricket, cycling and cars. He looks forward to his chess class with Jeet sir every week and admires him a lot. We have seen his interest for chess increasing a lot more even since he started the classes with Jeet sir. In his free time, he loves watching the car videos. We really appreciate the effort PCA puts in to make children take interest in chess. We look forward to Vihaan enjoying the game of chess.”
Coach feedback on Vihaan:
“Vihaan is a passionate and talented chess player who loves to play chess. At such a young age, he has shown the potential to perform well in practice sessions. He is a hard-working kid who takes interest in learning new concepts in chess he learned fast and the best is- he never gives up. He is very punctual in class and joins every class on time. He participates in practice sessions with great effort & always has a learning attitude while playing games.
All my best wishes are always with Vihaan 😊!”

2.Dhruv Ramanathan
“Dhruv is 11 years old and from Essex in the UK. He had very little idea about chess before joining PCA last year. We were infact very skeptical if he would even sit through the online classes, however his interest towards the game and his skills have improved dramatically since he joined PCA, thanks to his coach Raunak who has supported and motivated him throughout. Dhruv is generally a very inquisitive boy who loves building and assembling things. Not just playing with his lego but he has had a major hand in putting together most of our furniture at home. His latest craze being paper planes you can find a blackbird parked in every nook and corner of our house!”
Coach feedback on Dhruv :
“Dhruv is a brilliant kid. He is very regular with the practice session and classes, he always ready to play chess matches, and very keen to know his mistakes. From the last few months I can clearly see his progress, he always tries to implement learning on the chess board. Best wishes for him and I know with that consistency, he has a bright future in chess.”
