At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (December 2020) at Premier Chess Academy, USA!

1. Aarav Manjunath

“Aarav is a 5.7 year old, soft spoken, attentive, curious and fun loving kid. He loves being creative with Lego. His hobbies include drawing, cycling, reading and learning classical music. He started attending chess classes at PCA a few months ago and his chess game has improved a lot. He enjoys his chess classes and playing in practice tournaments. Thanks to PCA and his coach Swapnil”.

2. Prithve C Pratheep

“Prithve’s passion towards chess started when he saw a chess board at the age of 3.5  and self-learned the basics by watching YouTube kids. He was coached for 3 yrs and PCA & coach Rinku fine tuned his skills and motivated the kids to love the  game and enjoy the class . He wouldn’t miss practice tournaments for anything ! Prithve is a humble and fun loving 1st grader who loves to play soccer and is trained in tennis and enjoys playing with his baby brother”.

“Prithve is a first standard kid who loves to play chess. He is a very passionate and talented chess player. He catches the concepts very fast and listens to the coach every time. Prithve has built endurance over time to face the game challenges and comes up with different strategies to face opponents. He is always attentive on the practice sessions and open to receiving feedback. I do believe sooner he will achieve good results in chess”.

3. Tanish Dharmendar

Tanish is a 2nd grader and started learning chess from October after joining PCA. We introduced him to chess to sit and focus for sometime since he always preferred to watch youtube videos and going out and never liked to return home. But the way he is progressing now makes us happy and motivated. He is a quick learner and always enjoys playing games with friends. Thanks to PCA and coach Aabhas for this opportunity and nurturing his skills”.

Tanish is a very attentive kid. He has shown great improvement recently. He is always motivated for the practice sessions and gives his best in them. Tanish has a good level of patience and this is what makes him a good player. In the classes, Tanish is always excited to learn new ideas and tries his best to use them in his games. 4.  Aayush Washimkar

Aayush is a first grader who loves playing chess. Apart from chess he likes watching cartoons, reading and is good at Math. He is a silent, polite kid. Thanks to PCA and his teacher Rinku Jain for the guidance and propelling his interest in Chess”.

“Aayush is a six years old kid who loves to play chess. At this age he is performing very well and beating 10 year olds. He never leaves a chance to show his chess skills. He is good at calculating good moves and tactics too. I hope one day he will make everyone proud with his chess brilliance”.

5. Prabhav Repaka

“Prabhav is a lovable kid who brings a host of wonderful traits that make him enjoyable to be around. He can be very engaging around others whether it’s playing sport, games or even conversations. He is smart, hardworking and focused and seems comfortable being by himself while painting, studying, solving puzzles,  and even baking off late. He seems to be very comfortable in different settings and wonderfully adapts with his surroundings, people and activity to make the most of what he is doing. Thank you PCA and Aabhas for letting him enter into this passionate world of chess”.

“Prabhav is doing extremely well. He is highly ambitious and does all his work in a very systematic order. His never give up attitude always works for him and will surely do wonders for him in the future too. 6. Nirav Singhal

“Nirav Singhal is a 13 year old living in Minnesota,USA. He started playing chess in June,2020. He loves sports and excels in Mathematics. He loves playing cricket and other sports with his little brother. He finds chess interesting and plays every day. Thanks to PCA, he is becoming a better player every day”.

7. Shiv Karthik Srinivasan

“Shiv is an energetic second grader who is also a passionate and enthusiastic learner of chess. He loves playing basketball and building lego structures. He is also learning piano and enjoys painting. We really appreciate the coach & PCA team for their guidance and support”.

8.  Sai Aditya Kollipara

“Sai is 5th grader.  He is friendly and loves to talk (Same age group though.. ). Started playing chess at 7. After joining PCA, got more interested in chess and always looks forward to practice sessions. Apart from chess, he likes to spend time outdoors playing soccer, biking. He is an avid hiker started at age 4”.

“Sai is a very talented, dedicated hard working kid. He is a fast learner. He is good at grasping all the topics taught in the class and constantly tries to put them all in practical use. He ensures not to miss any practice sessions and gives a hard time even to intermediate kids. He has redefined advanced beginner level at PCA showcasing the quality to incoming kids at PCA. 9. Avi

“Avi enjoys playing Chess and Tennis. Avi is a very good learner and he helps his friends in the class. Avi loves playing XBox games with his brother and friends”.

Avi is a highly attentive, sincere student. He is a good listener and believes in steady progress which results in rock solid performance in playing as well as tactical studies. Shows high passion and love towards chess, definitely one of the strongest performers of  Premier Chess Academy.

10. Krish

“Krish is 8 years old, 3rd grader, active learner of chess. He loves solving puzzles and playing legos. He started learning chess formally a few months back and improved a lot. Thanks to Premier Chess Academy and Abhishek for the excellent coaching and guidance”.

11. Reyansh Dash

“Reyansh is a jolly and very loving seven-year-old. He has innate curiosity and excitement about almost everything in the world at this age. Topics could be as random as Black holes on one day to Ancient pyramids the very next day 😊. He enjoys reading, biking and playing outdoors. He loves to spend time with his family and little brother. Chess is his new found interest. All thanks to PCA and his coach Abhishek”.
