At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advice, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.

Here we go to recognize the stars of the month (April 2026) at Premier Chess Academy, Europe!

1.Rafael Muragundi

” Rafael is 7yrs old, living in Glasgow, Scotland. He picked up interest in chess because of his dad and sister playing. He loves painting, board games, and outdoor sports. Hoping the chess classes will keep him busy and learn the chess in the right of way.”

Coach feedback on Rafael:

” Rafael is a brilliant student. He never misses any of his classes and always does his homework and also whatever we learn in class he tries that in the games at home as well which has helped him improve a lot in the recent month.  He loves to try new things and learn new strategies. His ability to think tactically has impressed me a lot. My best wishes with Rafael moving forward
