At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. 1. Atharv Singh Gaharvar

Thank you, Abhishek sir, for your dedication and effort in coaching my son in chess. I can see a positive improvement in his thinking skills, focus, and interest in the game. 2. Tamanna

Tamanna, a 15-year-old student from India, is currently studying in Class 10. She is a bright, determined, and multi-talented individual who excels in every field she undertakes. In 2025, Tamanna joined PCA with a strong desire to sharpen her skills and deepen her understanding of the game. Under the dedicated mentorship of Coach Aniket Sir, she found the perfect guiding hand that helped her improve drastically and elevate her performance to new heights. Alongside her extracurricular pursuits, Tamanna balances her academics with great discipline and consistency, demonstrating exceptional commitment both in and outside the classroom.”

3. AADISANKAR.V

Aadisankar is interested in fields like Quantum Physics etc. He is a winner in many extracurricular activities related to science and technology in state level competitions. He is an avid football fan and a football player in his school football club. He is very much interested in playing chess. He started the game from home. His parents encouraged his intense liking for the game. He participated in many chess tournaments. He started his chess coaching from a local coach. He is sharpening his abilities through online coaching of PCA. He is progressing fast because of the coaching, thanks to the able coaching and mentoring of Mr. Ramendra Ranjan.”

4. Busireddy Dhanvin Sabareesh Reddy

He is studying 6th class. He is from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He is a very active kid, good at Academics.  He loves to play football and chess. Dhanvin has exhibited consistent improvement at PCA, where systematic training has enhanced his analytical and strategic thinking skills, leading to measurable growth in his chess performance within a few months.”

5. Krishiv Jha

Krishiv Jha, a 6th-grade student, is a young mind driven by strategy, curiosity, and quiet determination. His journey with chess began four years ago and has since grown into a true passion. After joining Primers Chess Academy last year, Krishiv has shown remarkable improvement under the guidance of his coach, Tushar, sharpening his game and deepening his understanding of the sport. Mathematics is his favorite subject, chess excites him the most, nurturing his analytical thinking and focus. Krishiv hopes his growing love for chess will continue to shape him into a disciplined and strategic thinker in all areas of life.”

6. SWATHY CHANDRA

SWATHY loves to play chess. Her passion for chess is totally inspiring!  She probably spends hours analyzing openings and endgames. Swathy’s strategic thinking on the board translates to real-life problem-solving. She participates in local chess tournaments. Her favorite piece is the knight, with its quirky moves. Swathy’s games are likely filled with intense focus and quiet contemplation. Her love for chess brings her joy and mental challenge every day!

Swathy is an intelligent, focused and calm girl. She gives maximum attention during the sessions. She is very consistent in practice tournaments. Selection Criteria – January 2026:

Regular in class and practice sessions.
Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
Overall – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
