At Premier Chess Academy (PCA), our vision is to transform kids into the world of chess & support them along the transition. Each and every kid at PCA deserves a special appreciation but we have shortlisted (selection criteria below) the students. Friendly advice, “for student’s those who didn’t make it through – you will make it one day and for those who are the stars of the month – continue the practice as your bar goes up”.

1. Hiti Alok Lad
” Hiti has always been a curious and enthusiastic learner. She played a basic chess competition in her school. After that she was very excited to learn more about chess and she joined the PCA classes. She never misses a single class and looks forward to every class very excited. We are proud to see her growth and excitement with PCA so far.”

2. AVYUKT MUKHERJEE
” Avyukt is learning well. Coach Keshav is patient to teach the little kids, and Avyukt has learned the chess pieces names and initial moves. He is developing interest in the game with his effort.”

” Kiritharan Tharun aged 9, started his journey with premier chess academy on chess two years back with the guidance of coach Ramendra Ranjan. He achieved remarkable achievement with his coach’s effort. We really appreciate the hard work done by the team. wishes.”

4. BHAGATH
” Bhagath is a motivated and curious learner who shows keen interest in developing his chess skills and actively participates in practice sessions and school-level events. He demonstrates good focus and a positive attitude toward learning and improvement. Along with chess, Bhagath enjoys engaging in outdoor sports and spending time playing games with his friends, which helps him maintain a balanced and energetic approach to his activities.”

5. Adnan Mohamed Shehna
” We are incredibly proud that Adnan has been chosen as the Star Kid of the Month! Adnan is in Grade 9, and from a young age he has always shown a strong curiosity and love for learning. He is a bright, thoughtful, and determined young man who truly enjoys a challenge. Adnan has a deep passion for chess and math — two areas where he feels his mind really comes alive. Chess, for him, isn’t just a game; it’s a way to think strategically, to solve problems, and to stretch his mind in new directions. He loves tackling difficult puzzles and complex questions, both on the board and in his schoolwork. It was this love of challenge that led him to join Premier Chess Academy, and since then we’ve seen him grow not only as a player but also as a confident thinker. As parents, we’ve watched Adnan learn to approach each game and each new concept with patience, focus, and joy. Whether he’s working through a tough position or analyzing his latest match, he brings enthusiasm and resilience. We are truly thankful to the coaches at PCA for guiding him, nurturing his skills, and inspiring him to always aim higher.”

Selection Criteria –January 2026:
- Regular in class and practice sessions.
- Displaying improvement in practices to reach top 3 positions.
- Puzzle solving and tactics findings in regular class.
- Generate quest in chess and regular in assignments.
- Overall – Passion is evident in class, practices, puzzle solving etc.
